The Artscape Theatre pulsed with an amalgamation of culture and celebration on Friday, 15 June, as Zimbabwean music legend Oliver (Tuku) Mtukudzi had the audience on their feet swaying to the rhythm of his unique voice.

The father of Zimbabwean music was supported on stage by talented young artists Bryan K, Probeats and Silent Nqo, debuting in the Mother City, in a dual celebration of Youth Day Weekend and Father’s Day.

The show, organised by Xtratime Entertainment and supported by Mukuru.com was completely sold out, echoing the previous year when Tuku entertained audiences with his playful dance moves.

The Mukuru Marketing Team joined in the celebration and dancing on Friday too. If you missed the show, you can view our event image gallery. Ask your family or friends to send you money for tickets next time with Mukuru.com. Simply sign up, send it, and you’re sorted!
