1. Introduction
    1. The Mukuru Switch and Save Campaign (“the  Campaign”) is being run by SMH Botswana Bureau  de Change (Pty) Ltd (Company Registration  number CO2012/7660 (“Mukuru”) from 2 August 2021 to 5 September 2021 (“the Campaign Period”) subject to these specific terms and  conditions and the general terms and conditions for  competitions and Competitions which can be found  at www.mukuru.com (“Competition Ts & Cs”).  
    2. By participating in the Campaign, you confirm that  you have read and agree to be legally bound by the  Competition Ts & Cs.

  2. Campaign Entry Requirements:  
    1. To qualify to participate in the Campaign, you must:
      1. be a registered Mukuru Customer (as  defined by Mukuru); and
      2. be a Mukuru Customer sending money  for the first time using the Mukuru  Service; and
      3. you must send money from Botswana  to a recipient in any of the countries in which Mukuru has a presence, during  the Campaign Period; and
      4. you must comply with these terms and  conditions.
    2. Persons who fulfil the requirements of clause 2.1  above will be referred to as “Qualifying  Participants” for the purposes of the Campaign.
    3. Mukuru must process your personal information to  validate your entry and if you are a winner, to make  the Prize available to you. By entering the  Campaign, you consent to us processing your  personal information for this purpose. If you do not  consent, please do not enter the Campaign.
  3. The Reward
    1. All Qualifying Participants during the Campaign  Period will get a once-off guaranteed P50 (Fifty  Pula) airtime in Botswana.
    2. The airtime will be sent directly to the Qualifying  Participant’s phone no later than 5 (five) days after  the successful first transaction with Mukuru.
    3. The airtime will be sent to the mobile number registered on the Qualifying Participant’s Mukuru  profile.  
  4. General  
    1. Mukuru employees will not be allowed to enter the  Campaign.  
    2. Qualifying Participants must be 18 years or older.
    3. Qualifying Participants cannot participate in the  Campaign more than once.
    4. If for any reason, the Campaign cannot run as  planned because of any technical failures,  unauthorised intervention, computer virus, mobile  network failure, stock unavailability, tampering,  fraud or any other causes beyond our control which  corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the  Campaign, we reserve the right to cancel,  terminate, modify, suspend or cancel the  Campaign and/or to disqualify any individual who  (whether directly or indirectly) causes (or has  caused) the problem.  
    5. Mukuru may vary the terms of or cancel the  Campaign at any time. Mukuru may vary or cancel  the Campaign at any time without any liability to  any person involved directly or indirectly in the  Campaign.  
    6. The airtime reward is not transferrable for cash or  otherwise.  
    7. Mukuru cannot be held liable for any loss, expense  or damage to any person participating in the  Campaign.
    8. A failure by Mukuru to enforce any one of the terms  and conditions in any instance(s) will not give rise  to any claim or right of action by any Qualifying  Participant. If Mukuru does not enforce a provision,  this will not mean that Mukuru has given up on or  lost any rights.
    9. Mukuru will not assume any liability to any  participant, or Qualifying Participant in connection  with or arising out of the Campaign however it is  caused, including for any costs, expenses, forfeited  rewards, damages and other liabilities
    10. These Campaign Terms and Conditions are  governed by the laws of Botswana.
