Mukuru Africa (Pty) Ltd will be conducting interviews for Numbers and Verifications Officers.  It is important that applicants have a knowledge of money transfer procedures, FICA and FAIS regulations and African currencies.  It is essential that applicants are able to understand and speak a Zimbabwean/Malawian/other relevant African language.   Please refer to our website for detailed job descriptions and requirements for the various roles at www.mukuru.com

The Number and Verification Officer reports directly to the NAV Team Leader.  This position is responsible for checking and verifying information gathered from new customers in order to open accounts.  They are required to check the integrity of the documents provided and identify potential fraudulent documents.  The position is also required to update customer contact information (telephone number changes).  Internal Liaison takes place with the Agent Consultants and the Call Center.   External liaison takes place with external customers.



  • Must be able to speak Zimbabwean/Malawian/other relevant African language

Duties Include:

  • To verify documentation and information supplied by customers when signing up for new accounts
  • To complete the electronic verification process
  • To process requests for contact number changes and pin resets
  • To uphold the company brand
  • To manage own professional and self-development
