Mukuru Africa (Pty) Ltd will be conducting interviews for Verification Officers.  It is important that applicants have a knowledge of money transfer procedures, FICA and FAIS regulations and African currencies.  It is essential that applicants are able to understand and speak a Zimbabwean/Malawian/other relevant African language.   Please refer to our website for detailed job descriptions and requirements for the various roles at www.mukuru.com

This role will be based in the Cape Town office and reports to the Numbers and Verifications Supervisor.

Duties Include (but not be limited to):

  • To verify new and existing customer FICA documentation without errors
  • To manually upload customer FICA documents on ICFX
  • To merge customer multiple accounts on ICFX
  • Liaising with Home Affairs
  • Liaising with AML Officer
  • Outbound calls to clients and agents when necessary


  • Matric/Grade 12 certificate
  • Knowledge of FICA and AML regulations
  • Knowledge of money transfer procedures
