Terms & Conditions for the Mukuru Birthday UK Competition
Introduction
1.1. The Mukuru Birthday_UK Competition (“the Competition”) is being run by Remitix Limited (Company Registration number 5270734) trading as Mukuru (“Mukuru”) from 1 September 2020 – 30 September 2020 (“the Competition Period”) subject to these specific terms and conditions and the general terms and conditions for Competitions which can be found at www.remitix.com (“Competition Ts & Cs”) https://www.mukuru.com/en-uk/general-terms-and-conditions-mukuru-competitions/ 1.2. By participating in the Competition, you confirm that you have read and agree to be legally bound by these terms as well as the Competition Ts & Cs (as may be applicable). 1.3. Competition Participation Requirements:
2.1. To qualify to participate in the Competition you must: 2.1.1. Send money from the UK or EU using the Mukuru Service, within the Competition Period; 2.1.2. abide by all applicable Ts & Cs. 2.2. By entering the Competition, you are granting Mukuru permission and authority to use the personal information you give or make available to Mukuru for the purposes of this Competition and for any other marketing communication as permitted by applicable law. 2.3. Participants who fulfil the requirements of clause 2.1 and 2.2 above will be referred to as “Qualifying Participants” for the purposes of the Competition.
The Prize
3.1. One (1) Qualifying Participant will be randomly selected each week for the Competition Period through random.org as a winner. 3.2. A total of 5 (five) winners will be chosen during the Competition Period. 3.3. Each week the winner will receive the value of their order sent during the Competition Period, to a maximum value of £100 (one hundred Pounds) (the “Prize”). 3.4. The Prize will either be sent to the winner’s UK or EU bank account or the winner may choose for the prize to be remitted, using the Mukuru Service.
Winners Selection and Announcement of winners
4.1. Winners will be selected and announced every Monday during the Competition Period with the last announcement taking place on 5 October 2020 on MukuruUK’s Facebook page. 4.2. Winners will be contacted via email. 4.3. If Mukuru is not able to reach the winner within 4 days of the winner selection, then the prize will be forfeited.
General
5.1. Mukuru employees will not be allowed to enter the Competition. 5.2. If for any reason, the Competition cannot run as planned because of any technical failures, unauthorised intervention, computer virus, mobile network failure, tampering, fraud or any other causes beyond our control which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, we reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify, suspend or cancel the Competition and/or to disqualify any individual who (whether directly or indirectly) causes (or has caused) the problem. 5.3. Mukuru may vary the terms of or cancel the Competition at any time. Mukuru may vary or cancel the Competition at any time without any liability to any person involved directly or indirectly in the Competition. 5.4. Mukuru cannot be held liable for any loss, expense or damage to any person participating in the Competition. 5.5. A failure by Mukuru to enforce any one of the terms and conditions in any instance(s) will not give rise to any claim or right of action by any Qualifying Participant. If Mukuru does not enforce a provision, this will not mean that Mukuru has given up on or lost any rights. 5.6. Mukuru will not assume any liability to any participant or Qualifying Participant in connection with or arising out of the Competition however it is caused, including for any costs, expenses, damages and other liabilities 5.7. These Competition Terms and Conditions are governed by and determined in accordance with the laws of England.
