How to Send Cash to Africa
Signing up and sending money to Africa happens in four, simple steps; and you can do it in no time at all.
Sign Up with Us: When getting started, you can either fill out an online sign-up form or speak to a Mukuru agent by phoning +44 (0) 20 7183 0052. Thereafter, your account is ready to use.
Select Your Account Type: You can choose between two account types. The first type includes a light registration that requires only basic information. Here, you will be able to send up to £600 per month. The second account type requires a full registration and allows for transfers of between £600 to £4000 per month. Full registration requires proof of identity as well as proof of address.
Place Your Remittance Order: In this step, placing your cash transfer order is as easy as telling us to whom you wish to send cash and how much you would like to transfer. Enter your desired amount and hit send – the rest is up to us to ensure your money is transferred swiftly and safely.
The Money is Received: We have thousands of cash collection points and payout partners across Africa, and all your recipient needs to do is find a Mukuru payout point within our network and collect their money.
