Terms & Conditions for Mukuru UK Bus “Spot the Difference” Competition

  1. Introduction
    1. The Mukuru UK Bus “Spot the Difference” Competition (“the Competition”) is being run by Remitix Limited (Company Registration number 5270734) trading as Mukuru (“Mukuru”) from 27 January 2021 – 10 February 2021 (“the Competition Period”) subject to these specific terms and conditions and the general terms and conditions for Competitions which can be found at www.remitix.com and https://www.mukuru.com/en-uk/general-terms-and-conditions-mukuru-competitions/ (“Competition Ts & Cs”).
    2. By participating in the Competition, you confirm that you have read and agree to be legally bound by the Competition Ts & Cs.

  2. Competition Entry Requirements:
    1. To qualify to participate in the Competition, you must:
      1. correctly guess five differences between the two visuals (images) uploaded onto Mukuru’s UK Facebook page (“Mukuru Image”) by commenting on the post containing the Mukuru Image;
      2. tag 3 friends inside your comment;
      3. share the post containing the Mukuru Image on your Facebook page;
      4. agree, that if you are selected as a winner, that Mukuru will announce you as the winner, on our media platforms and
      5. abide by all applicable Ts & Cs.
    2. Participants who fulfil the requirements of clause 2.1 above will be referred to as “Qualifying Participants” for the purposes of the Competition.
  3. Winner Selection
    1. Up to five (5) Qualifying Participants, but no less than 3 (three) Qualifying Participants will be selected as the winners during the Competition Period.
    2. Winners will be selected each week during the Competition Period.
    3. The weeks during the Competition Period will run are as follows:
      1. 27 January 2021 – 2 February 2021;
      2. 3 February 2021 – 10 February 2021;
  4. The Prize
    1. Each winner will win £50 (Fifty Pounds) which will be paid into the winner’s bank account (“the Prize”). The Prize will be converted (on the date on which the winners are announced) into the official currency of the country in which the winner is located.
    2. Alternatively, the winner may choose to remit the Prize to a recipient of his/her choice in applicable countries, using the Mukuru Service.
    3. If the Prize is remitted using the Mukuru Service to a recipient, the Prize will be converted (on the date on which the winners are announced) into the official currency of the country in which the recipient is located.
  5. Announcement of winners
    1. The winners will be contacted via Facebook Messenger and will be announced on Mukuru’s UK Facebook page within three days after each week.
    2. If Mukuru is unable to contact the winner and/or the prize cannot be transferred to the winner within 4 (four) calendar days, the prize will be forfeited and Mukuru may elect the next runner-up who qualifies under the Competition Terms as a winner.
  6. General
    1. Mukuru employees will not be allowed to enter the Competition.
    2. Qualifying Participants must be 18 years or older.
    3. The same winner cannot win twice during the Competition Period.
    4. If for any reason, the Competition cannot run as planned because of any technical failures, unauthorised intervention, computer virus, mobile network failure, tampering, fraud or any other causes beyond our control which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, we reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify, suspend or cancel the Competition and/or to disqualify any individual who (whether directly or indirectly) causes (or has caused) the problem.
    5. Mukuru may vary the terms of or cancel the Competition at any time – without any liability to any person involved directly or indirectly in the Competition.
    6. Mukuru cannot be held liable for any loss, expense or damage to any person participating in the Competition.
    7. A failure by Mukuru to enforce any one of the terms and conditions in any instance(s) will not give rise to any claim or right of action by any Qualifying Participant. If Mukuru does not enforce a provision, this will not mean that Mukuru has given up on or lost any rights.
    8. Mukuru will not assume any liability to any participant, or Qualifying Participant in connection with or arising out of the Competition however it is caused, including for any costs, expenses, forfeited rewards, damages and other liabilities.
    9. These Competition Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England.
