Terms & Conditions for the Zimfest Live Competition

  1. Introduction
    1. The Mukuru Zimfest LIVE Competition (“the Competition”) is being run by Remitix Limited (Company Registration number 5270734) (“Mukuru”) from 28 June 2023 to 9 July 2023 (“the Competition Period”) subject to these specific terms and conditions and the general terms and conditions for competitions and Competitions which can be found at www.mukuru.com (“Competition Ts & Cs”). 
    2. By participating in the Competition, you confirm that you have read and agree to be legally bound by the Competition Ts & Cs.

  2. Competition Entry Requirements: 
    1. To qualify to participate in the Competition, you must:
      1. reside in the United Kingdom; and
      2. download the Mukuru UK app and register as a Mukuru Customer (as defined by Mukuru); and
      3. send money internationally for the first time using the Mukuru UK app; and
      4. send any amount of money from the United Kingdom to a recipient of your choice in any of the countries in which Mukuru has a presence, during the Competition Period
      5. you must abide by all the Competition Ts and Cs.
    2. Persons who fulfil the requirements of clause 2.1 above will be referred to as “Qualifying Participants” for the purposes of the Competition.
    3. For the purposes of the Competition, Mukuru will need to process your personal information.  For example, your personal information will be used to validate your entry, make the reward available to you if you are a winner, announce the winners on social media and potentially share your personal information with 3rd parties in other countries.  Protecting your personal information is important to Mukuru and will be processed according to our Privacy Notice.  By entering the Competition, you consent to us processing your personal information for the purposes of the Competition. 
  3. The Reward
    1. All Qualifying Participants will be entered into a random draw to win tickets to attend the ZimfestLIVE event taking place on Saturday 29 July 2023 at Herts Showground.
    2. There will be seventeen (17) winners during the Competition Period. Each winner will win two (2) tickets to the ZimfestLive event. There will be 10 x winners who will win double standard festival tickets each, 4 x winners who will win double VVIP Festival tickets and there will be 3 x winners who will win double VIP tickets. 
    3. The prize consists of two tickets to the Zimfest Live event only. The winner will be liable for all other costs associated with utilizing the prize, including but not limited to travel to and from the event, accommodation, refreshments etc. 
    4. The random draw will take place on Monday 17 July 2023 and the winners will be contacted between the 17th – 23rd July 2023 via telephone, and may also be announced on social media channels.
    5. If Mukuru was successful in contacting a winner, a winner will be emailed his/her two tickets in the week of 17 July 2023, using the email address that Mukuru has on file for the winner. It remains the responsibility of the winner to follow up with Mukuru if the tickets are not received.
    6. Should Mukuru be unable to contact a winner after three tries the prize will be forfeited.
  4. General 
    1. Mukuru employees and agents will not be allowed to enter the Competition. 
    2. Qualifying Participants must be 18 years or older.
    3. Qualifying Participants can only win once during the Competition Period.
    4. If the winner is not fully vaccinated, Mukuru cannot guarantee that the winner will be able to make use of the prize in full or in part and Mukuru disclaims all liability in this regard.
    5. Mukuru cannot guarantee that the winner will be able to enter the stadium and disclaims all liability in this regard.
    6. The Reward cannot be exchanged for cash or another reward
    7. If for any reason, the Competition cannot run as planned because of any technical failures, unauthorised intervention, computer virus, mobile network failure, stock unavailability, tampering, fraud or any other causes beyond our control which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, we reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify, suspend or cancel the Competition and/or to disqualify any individual who (whether directly or indirectly) causes (or has caused) the problem. 
    8. Mukuru may vary the terms of or cancel the Competition at any time. Mukuru may vary or cancel the Competition at any time without any liability to any person involved directly or indirectly in the Competition. 
    9. Mukuru cannot be held liable for any loss, expense or damage to any person participating in the Competition.
    10. A failure by Mukuru to enforce any one of the terms and conditions in any instance(s) will not give rise to any claim or right of action by any Qualifying Entrant or winner. If Mukuru does not enforce a provision, this will not mean that Mukuru has given up on or lost any rights
    11. Neither Mukuru nor its agents shall be responsible for any loss or misdirected entries, including entries that were not received due to any failure of hardware, software, or other computer or technical systems affecting participating and/or prize redemption process of the Competition. 
    12. Mukuru will not assume any liability to any participant, or Qualifying Participant in connection with or arising out of the Competition however it is caused, including for any costs, expenses, forfeited rewards, damages and other liabilities 
    13. These Competition Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
