Mukuru UK-Based Preferred Banks Competition

Introduction
1.1. The Mukuru UK-Based Preferred Banks Competition] (“the Competition”) is being run by Remitix Limited (Company Registration number 5270734 trading as Mukuru (“Mukuru”) from 2 June 2020 until 12 June 2020 (“the Competition Period”) subject to these specific terms and conditions and the general terms and conditions for competitions which can be found at [email protected] (“Competition Ts & Cs”) https://www.mukuru.com/en-uk/general-terms-and-conditions-mukuru-competitions/
1.2. By participating in the Competition, you confirm that you have read and agree to be legally bound by the Competition Ts & Cs (as may be applicable).

Competition Entry Requirements:
2.1. In order to qualify for entry into the Competition you must:
2.1.1. be a registered United Kingdom Mukuru Customer (as defined by Mukuru);
2.1.2. complete and submit the Google form on MukuruUK’s Facebook page on your preferred UK-based banks during the Competition Period;
2.1.3. agree, that if you are selected as a winner, that Mukuru may announce you as the winner, using your name and a photo of you for the purposes of this Competition, on our media platforms (including on our website, social media channels, email and in our monthly newsletter; and
2.1.4. abide by all the Competition Ts and Cs.
2.2. Participants who fulfil the requirements of clause 2.1 above will be referred to as “Qualifying Participants” for the purposes of the Competition.
Winners selection
3.1. One (1) Qualifying Participant will be randomly selected as the winner each month using random.org https://www.random.org/. The selection will take place on 17 June 2020.
The Prize(s)
4.1. One (1) Qualifying Participant will win £50 (fifty Pounds) which will be paid into the winner’s UK based bank account (“the Prize”).
4.2. The winner may choose to remit the Prize to a recipient of his/her choice in applicable countries, using the Mukuru Service.
Announcement of winners
5.1. Once the winner has been verified as a Qualifying Participant, the winner will be contacted to verify his/her details.
5.2. The winner will be announced on Mukuru’s UK Facebook page.
5.3. If Mukuru is not able to reach the winner within 3 days of the winner selection, then the Prize will be forfeited.
General
6.1. Mukuru employees will not be allowed to enter the Competition.
6.2. If for any reason, the Competition cannot run as planned because of any technical failures, unauthorised intervention, computer virus, mobile network failure, tampering, fraud or any other causes beyond our control which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, we reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify, suspend or cancel the Competition and/or to disqualify any individual who (whether directly or indirectly) causes (or has caused) the problem.
6.3. Mukuru may vary the terms of or cancel the Competition at any time. Mukuru may vary or cancel the Competition at any time without any liability to any person involved directly or indirectly in the Competition.
6.4. Mukuru cannot be held liable for any loss, expense or damage to any person participating in the Competition.
6.5. A failure by Mukuru to enforce any one of the terms and conditions in any instance(s) will not give rise to any claim or right of action by any Qualifying Entrant or winner. If Mukuru does not enforce a provision, this will not mean that Mukuru has given up on or lost any rights.
6.6. Mukuru will not assume any liability to any participant, Qualifying Participant, or prize winner in connection with or arising out of the Competition however it is caused, including for any costs, expenses, forfeited prizes, damages and other liabilities
6.7. These Competition Terms and Conditions are governed by and determined in accordance with the laws of England.
