Terms & Conditions for the African Stores Competition
The African Stores Competition (“the Competition”) is being run by Remitix Limited (Company Registration number 5270734) trading as Mukuru (“Mukuru”) from 1 July 2020 – 31 July 2020 (“the Competition Period”) subject to these specific terms and conditions and the general terms and conditions for Competitions which can be found at www.remitix.com (“Competition Ts & Cs”) https://www.mukuru.com/en-uk/general-terms-and-conditions-mukuru-competitions/
By participating in the Competition, you confirm that you have read and agree to be legally bound by these terms as well as the Competition Ts & Cs (as may be applicable).
The purpose of the Competition is for Mukuru to gain market research on African stores in the UK.

Competition Participation Requirements:
To qualify to participate in the Competition you must:
Complete and submit the form found at https://bit.ly/MukuruUK_AfricanShop during the Competition Period; and
abide by all applicable Ts & Cs.
By entering the Competition, you are granting Mukuru permission and authority to use your name and any photo you use in this Competition for the purposes of this Competition and for any other marketing communication.
Participants who fulfil the requirements of clause 2.1 and 2.2 above will be referred to as “Qualifying Participants” for the purposes of the Competition.
Multiple submissions are allowed by a Qualifying Participant with each submission qualifying as an entry.
One (1) Qualifying Participant will be randomly selected through random.org as the winner.
The winner will receive £50 (fifty Pounds) (the “Prize”).
The Prize will either be sent to the winner’s bank account or the winner may choose for the prize to be remitted, using the Mukuru Service (less remittance fees).
Winners Selection and Announcement of winners
There will be 1 (one) winner selected and announced after the Competition Period on MukuruUK’s Facebook page or in Mukuru’s monthly newsletter.
Winners will be contacted via email or phone.
If Mukuru is not able to reach the winner within 3 days of the winner selection, then the prize will be forfeited.
Mukuru employees will not be allowed to enter the Competition.
If for any reason, the Competition cannot run as planned because of any technical failures, unauthorised intervention, computer virus, mobile network failure, tampering, fraud or any other causes beyond our control which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, we reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify, suspend or cancel the Competition and/or to disqualify any individual who (whether directly or indirectly) causes (or has caused) the problem.
Mukuru may vary the terms of or cancel the Competition at any time. Mukuru may vary or cancel the Competition at any time without any liability to any person involved directly or indirectly in the Competition.
Mukuru cannot be held liable for any loss, expense or damage to any person participating in the Competition.
A failure by Mukuru to enforce any one of the terms and conditions in any instance(s) will not give rise to any claim or right of action by any Qualifying Participant. If Mukuru does not enforce a provision, this will not mean that Mukuru has given up on or lost any rights.
Mukuru will not assume any liability to any participant or Qualifying Participant in connection with or arising out of the Competition however it is caused, including for any costs, expenses, damages and other liabilities
These Competition Terms and Conditions are governed by and determined in accordance with the laws of England.
