KYC VERIFICATION AND OUTBOUND CONSULTANT

An opportunity has become available for a KYC Verification and Outbound Consultant to join our Verifications Team in Cape Town. This role will report to the KYC Verifications Team Lead and will predominantly support our Chinese corridor and clients.

Internal Liaison takes place with the Agents and the Contact Centre. External liaison takes place with external customers.

Duties and Responsibilities (include but is not limited to):

• To verify documentation and information supplied by customers when signing up for new accounts
• To complete the electronic verification process
• To make outbound calls to customers in order to carry out security checks in assigned corridors
• Conduct security check telephonically
• Onboard customers who have signed up according to agreed SLA
• Provide support to Chinese agents
• To uphold the company brand
• To manage own professional and self-development

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential)
• Degree/diploma (Desirable)
• Understanding and speaking of Mandarin / other relevant Asian language (Essential)
• 6 months Customer Service Consultant experience (Essential)
• Mukuru Agent training
• Knowledge of money transfer procedures
• Knowledge of FICA regulations
