Terms & Conditions for Mukuru Customer Testimonial Campaign
Introduction
The Mukuru Customer Testimonial Campaign (“the Campaign”) is being run by Mukuru Bureau de Change (Pty) Ltd with registration number 53578 (“Mukuru”) from 15 November – 15 December 2024(“the Campaign period”) subject to these specific terms and conditions and the general terms and conditions for Campaigns which can be found at www.mukuru.com (“Campaign Ts & Cs”).
By participating in the Campaign, you confirm that you have read and agree to be legally bound by the Campaign Ts & Cs.

Campaign Entry Requirements:
To qualify to participate in the Campaign, you must:
be a customer of Mukuru in Lesotho, as defined by Mukuru;
during the Campaign Period, create a 30 second video about your amazing experience with Mukuru and how Mukuru has made a difference in your life and post it to your social media profiles (Facebook, Instagram or TikTok) with the hashtag #MukuruMoments and tag Mukuru
ensure that all your social media profiles are public for Mukuru to access the content;
You must comply with these terms and conditions.
Persons who fulfil the requirements of clause 2.1 above will be referred to as “Qualifying Participants” for the purposes of the Campaign.
Mukuru processes your personal information when you use the Mukuru Service. Protecting your personal information is important to Mukuru and processing is done according to our Privacy Notice. When we run Campaigns and you qualify for a reward, Mukuru will need to process your personal information for additional purposes. For example, your personal information may be used to validate your entry, make the reward available to you if you are a winner and potentially share your personal information with 3rd parties (including 3rd parties in other countries) who have a need to know. We will ensure those 3rd parties have adequate data protection safeguards in place.
The Prize
The content created by the Qualifying Participants across all 3 of their social media profiles will be considered by a panel, and the 2 Qualifying Participants with the highest engagement count across all 3 social media profiles (likes, shares/reposts, and comments) will each win M5000 (five thousand maloti) in cash.
The announcement of Winners will take place between 16 and 20 December 2024.
Should Mukuru fail to contact a Winner within 48 hours successfully, the Prize will be forfeited, and the next Qualifying Participant will be contacted.
After being successfully contacted, Winners will be announced on influencer posts on official Mukuru social media platforms. Should you wish to withdraw consent for your name to be announced on social media, it should be communicated to the representative of Mukuru who makes telephonic contact with you initially.
Winners will be announced on 20 December 2024.
Winners should collect the Prize at the Moonstar Complex Office within 7 days of the announcement of all Winners. Should a Winner fail to collect their Prize within this period, the Prize will be forfeited and Mukuru may contact the next Winner.
Winners should present Mukuru with proof of identification when collecting the Prize.
Photos, videos will be taken by Mukuru of the Winners as well as reposting of their videos as mentioned in clause 2.1.2 These photos and video footage will be shared by Mukuru on Mukuru social media platforms, Mukuru Influencer pages and may be used on broadcasting platforms. Should you refuse consent to photos/videos being posted of you, please indicate this to the Mukuru Marketing representative.
General
Mukuru employees and agents will not be allowed to enter the Campaign.
Qualifying Participants must be 18 years or older.
Any traveling that is required to and from the location at which the Prize is collected will be at the Winner’s own expense.
If for any reason, the Campaign cannot run as planned because of any technical failures, unauthorised intervention, computer virus, mobile network failure, stock unavailability, tampering, fraud or any other causes beyond our control which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Campaign, we reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify, suspend or cancel the Campaign and/or to disqualify any individual who (whether directly or indirectly) causes (or has caused) the problem.
Mukuru may vary the terms of or cancel the Campaign at any time. Mukuru may vary or cancel the Campaign at any time without any liability to any person involved directly or indirectly in the Campaign.
The Prize is not transferrable for cash or any other currency.
A failure by Mukuru to enforce any one of the terms and conditions in any instance(s) will not give rise to any claim or right of action by any Qualifying Participant. If Mukuru does not enforce a provision, this will not mean that Mukuru has given up on or lost any rights.
Mukuru will not assume any liability to any participant, or Qualifying Participant in connection with or arising out of the Campaign however it is caused, including for any costs, expenses, forfeited rewards, damages, and other liabilities
These Campaign Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Lesotho.
