1. Introduction  
    1. The Mukuru Ramadan Digital competition (“the Competition”) is being run by Mukuru Bureau de Change (Pty) Ltd with registration number 53578 (“Mukuru”) from 1 April 2022 to 30 April 2022 (“the Competition Period”) subject to these specific terms and conditions and the general terms and conditions for competitions and competitions which can be found at www.mukuru.com (“Competition Ts & Cs”).  
    2. By participating in the Competition, you confirm that you have read and agree to be legally bound by the Competition Ts & Cs.

  2. Competition Entry Requirements:  
    1. In order to enter the Competition, you must:  In respect of the Facebook posts of 1 April 2022 or 18 April 2022: 
      1. correctly answer the trivia questions in the comment section of the post; and 
      2. tag one (1) friend in the comment section of the post; and 
      3. add #MukuruRamadan in the comment section of the post; and
      4. follow Mukuru’s Twitter page at https://bit.ly/3CQjK1g  OR In respect of the Facebook posts of 11 April 2022 or 25 April 2022: 
      5. Catch the answer in the frame and send it (screen shot) in the comment section of the post; and
      6. tag one (1) friend in the comment section of the post; and
      7. add #MukuruRamadan in the comment section of the post; and
      8. follow Mukuru’s Twitter page at https://bit.ly/3CQjK1g  and you must not have won any prize in any Mukuru competition within the last six (6) months.
    2. Persons who fulfil the requirements of any one of the posts set out in clause 2.1 above will be referred to as “Qualifying Participants” for the purposes of the Competition. 
    3. Mukuru and must process your personal information to validate your entry and if you are a winner, to make the Prize available to you. By entering the Competition, you consent to us processing your personal information for this purpose. If you do not consent, please do not enter the Competition. 
  3. Winner selection and prizes 
    1. There are four (4) Facebook posts in total during the Competition Period. Four (4) random winners will be selected per weekly post by adding up all the Qualifying Participants across all the following corridors: South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, UK and Lesotho. There will thus be a total of sixteen winners (16) during the Competition Period.
    2. Winners will be randomly selected and announced on Facebook on 2 May 2022. Winners will be required to send their contact and their banking details to Mukuru via Facebook Messenger to enable Mukuru to pay over the prize to the winners. Winners who have not sent their details to Mukuru within thirty (30) days from date of announcement of the winners will forfeit the prize.
    3. If a Lesotho based winner is randomly selected to win a prize, such winner will win L500 (Five Hundred Lesotho Loti) in cash (“the prize”).
    4. The prize will be remitted to the winner via a Mukuru order within seven (7) working days from the date that Mukuru receives the details from the winner.
  4. General  
    1. Mukuru employees, directors, agents, contractors, consultants will not be allowed to enter the competition.
    2. Qualifying Entrants must reside in Lesotho and be 18 years or older. 
    3. A Qualifying Entrant cannot win more than once during the competition period. 
    4. If for any reason, the Competition cannot run as planned because of any technical failures, unauthorised intervention, computer virus, mobile network failure, tampering, fraud or any other causes beyond our control which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, Mukuru reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify, suspend or cancel the Competition and/or to disqualify any individual who (whether directly or indirectly) causes (or has caused) the problem.  
    5. Mukuru may vary the terms of or cancel the Competition at any time. Mukuru may vary or cancel the Competition at any time without any liability to any person involved directly or indirectly in the Competition.  
    6. Mukuru cannot be held liable for any loss, expense or damage to any person participating in the Competition. 
    7. Neither Mukuru nor its agents shall be responsible for any loss or misdirected entries, including entries that were not received due to any failure of hardware, software, or other computer or technical systems affecting participating and/or prize redemption process of the Competition. 
    8. A failure by Mukuru to enforce any one of the terms and conditions in any instance(s) will not give rise to any claim or right of action by any Qualifying Entrant. If Mukuru does not enforce a provision, this will not mean that Mukuru has given up on or lost any rights. 
    9. Mukuru will not assume any liability to any participant, or Qualifying Entrant in connection with or arising out of the Competition or Prize however it is caused, including for any costs, expenses, forfeited rewards, damages and other liabilities.
