Mukuru Card
Funeral cover premiums will be debited from your Mukuru Card, be sure to keep your card funded for automatic monthly payments.

COMING BACK HOME
Within South Africa and neighbouring countries, repatriation is arranged for the deceased when the body is more than 100km from their place of residence/home. .
A HELPING HAND
We assist with the necessary documentation and co-ordination with the authorities to transport the deceased’s mortal remains back home.
FINDING PEACE
The benefit includes the transfer of ashes of the deceased to their place of residence after cremation.
YOUR AID
If family clients are required to identify the deceased, or wish to accompany the deceased to the final funeral home, closest to the place of burial, accommodation for one night is arranged and paid for. (Value: R1000)

How to Claim
The beneficiary must complete and submit the claim form along with all necessary documentation
Mukuru will submit the claim and all relevant documentation to Siyavika
The claim is then sent to Guardrisk for approval
*Repatriation begins as soon as the paperwork is submitted
Note: Payout of a successful claim is made within 48 hours into the beneficiary’s valid South African Bank account. Alternatively, the beneficiary can instruct Mukuru to transfer the payout across the border (a remittance fee will be charged for this service).
