After you choose the sign up method that suits your needs, you’ll need to submit a few documents to get started. Choose from our account types below
MUKURU LITE (UP TO R2 000 per month)
After your first send, we will call you. We need to verify your details before you can send with us again.WE NEED FROM YOU:
- Some basic information about yourself
- The number from a legal Identification Document (e.g. SA ID, a Foreign ID, your Foreign Passport or Asylum Paper)
- Your home address
MUKURU CORE (UP TO R25 000 per month)
We need to verify your documents to activate this send limit. It can take up to 24 hours.WE NEED FROM YOU:
- A clear image of your legal Identification Document (e.g. SA ID, a Foreign ID, your Foreign Passport or Asylum Paper)
- A selfie holding your ID
- Your home address and job title
MUKURU MAX (MORE THAN R25 000 per month)
We need to verify your documents to activate this send limit. It can take up to 24 hours.Are you an SA ID holder? Send up to R1 million per year. We need:
- A clear image of your South African ID
- A selfie holding your ID
- Proof of your address
Foreign Documents? Send up to 12x your monthly income per year. We need:
- A clear image of your Foreign Passport / Foreign ID or Asylum Paper
- A selfie holding your ID
- Proof of income that is over R25 000 per month
