The Mukuru Rugby Competition (“the Competition”) is being run by Mukuru Africa (Pty) Ltd (Company Registration number 2013/003424/07) (“Mukuru) during the period stipulated in Clause 2.1.4. (“the Competition Period”) subject to these specific terms and conditions and the general terms and conditions for competitions and Competitions which can be found at www.mukuru.com (“Competition Ts & Cs”).
By participating in the Competition, you confirm that you have read and agree to be legally bound by the Competition Ts & Cs.

Competition Entry Requirements:
To qualify to participate in the Competition, you must:
be residing/working in South Africa (as defined by Mukuru);
comment your predicted winner out of the Rugby World Cup Final game on the specified Mukuru South Africa Facebook page posts and Tag a Friend or Friends who love Rugby to join the fun (all predictions will close before the kick-off of the final game);
Use the hashtags: #StrongerTogether and #OurHeartsareGreen&Gold
The Competition will run as follows:
Start date for Competition: 25 October 2023 alternatively, when the Facebook post is made;
Closing Date for Competition: 9:00 PM SA Time on 28 October 2023 ;
All predictions should be made before the Kick-Off time of the first Semi-Final.
The Final game will consist of the following teams:
South Africa vs. New Zealand; and
The prediction should include the name of the team to win the final and the margin they will win by.
You must comply with these terms and conditions.
Persons who fulfil the requirements of clause 2.1 above will be referred to as “Qualifying Participants” for the purposes of the Competition.
Mukuru processes your personal information when you use the Mukuru Service. Protecting your personal information is important to Mukuru and processing is done according to our Privacy Notice. When we run competitions and you qualify for a Prize, Mukuru will need to process your personal information for additional purposes. For example, your personal information may be used to validate your entry, make the reward available to you if you are a winner and potentially share your personal information with 3rd parties (including 3rd parties in other countries) who have a need to know. We will ensure those 3rd parties have adequate data protection safeguards in place. Mukuru also announces the winners on social media. If the Competition includes Mukuru wanting to post photos of you as a winner on social media, you will be asked if you agree thereto.
If you are a winner of a Prize you agree that we may take a picture of you and/or receive a story and/or a picture from you on how you used the prize. You agree that we may use such picture and/or story on all our social media platforms for marketing purposes relating to the Competition and in this regard, you give us an unrestricted, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable license to use your picture and/or story. You waive the right to inspect or approve any use of your picture or story by Mukuru and you waive any right to payment or additional consideration for Mukuru’s use of your picture or story. You release Mukuru from any actions, liabilities, losses, demands or claims that you or any third party may have now or in the future in respect of Mukuru’s use of your picture and/or story.
If you send us a picture and the picture contains the images of third parties you expressly warrant that you have obtained permission from such third parties (or, if under age, their legal guardians) that we may use such picture on all our social media platforms for marketing purposes relating to the Competition and you indemnify us against any claims by such third parties in this regard. If you do not consent to clauses 2.3-2.5, please do not enter the Competition.
The Prize
All Qualifying Participants of a particular Mukuru Facebook post who correctly predicted the Final winner will be put into a random draw and stand a chance to win the following Prize:
1 (one) of 2 (two) Springbok jerseys that are signed by Tendai “The Beast” Mtawarira,
A maximum of 2 (two) winners will be selected over the Final game predictions.
Winners will be announced on the Mukuru South Africa Facebook page on the following date:
31 October 2023;
Winners will be required to inbox the Mukuru South Africa Facebook page with their full name, phone number, and physical address. Should there be no response from the Mukuru South Africa Facebook page within 72 hours, you are required to send a screenshot, with your successful prediction and Facebook message with your details, to [email protected].
Winners will have 14 (fourteen) days from the date of the winner announcement via the Mukuru South Africa Facebook page to provide their details via a direct message on the Facebook page. If they fail to do so, they will forfeit their Prize.
Winners will only be able to collect the Prize at their nearest Mukuru branch after being contacted by Mukuru and they are able to provide an identification document, passport, or valid work or residence permit when collecting the Prize.
Winners will have 7 (seven) days to collect their Prize after arrangements were made for collection. If they fail to do so, they will forfeit their Prize.
General
Mukuru employees and agents will not be allowed to enter the Competition.
Qualifying Participants cannot win more than once, and Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash.
Jersey sizes are subject to Mukuru stock availability and cannot be returned or swapped for a different size.
If for any reason, the Competition cannot run as planned because of any technical failures, unauthorised intervention, computer virus, mobile network failure, stock unavailability, tampering, fraud or any other causes beyond our control which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, we reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify, suspend or cancel the Competition and/or to disqualify any individual who (whether directly or indirectly) causes (or has caused) the problem.
Mukuru may vary the terms of or cancel the Competition at any time. Mukuru may vary or cancel the Competition at any time without any liability to any person involved directly or indirectly in the Competition.
Mukuru cannot be held liable for any loss, expense, or damage to any person participating in the Competition.
A failure by Mukuru to enforce any one of the terms and conditions in any instance(s) will not give rise to any claim or right of action by any Qualifying Participant. If Mukuru does not enforce a provision, this will not mean that Mukuru has given up on or lost any rights.
Mukuru will not assume any liability to any participant, or Qualifying Participant in connection with or arising out of the Competition however it is caused, including for any costs, expenses, forfeited rewards, damages and other liabilities
These Competition Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa.
