The EFC Fight Night Competition (“the Competition”) is being run by EFC Africa Pty Ltd (Company Registration number 2010/011436/07) and Mukuru Africa (Pty) Ltd (Company Registration number 2013/003424/07) (“Mukuru”) from 3 May – 6 May 2024 (“the Competition Period”) subject to these specific terms and conditions and the general terms and conditions for competitions which can be found at www.mukuru.com (“Competition Ts & Cs”)
By participating in the Competition, you confirm that you have read and agree to be legally bound by the Competition Ts & Cs (as may be applicable)

Competition Entry Requirements
To qualify for entry into the Competition:
you must be living in or near Johannesburg at the time of the event taking place on 9 May 2024;
you must have entered the Competition by commenting on the post by answering who the Zimbabwean fighter is that will be competing in EFC 113 for a shot at the number 1 contender on the official Mukuru Facebook page;
You must abide by all the Competition Ts and Cs.
Mukuru processes your personal information when you use the Mukuru Service. Protecting your personal information is important to Mukuru and the EFC and processing is done according to our Privacy Notice. When we run Competitions and you qualify for a Prize, Mukuru and the EFC might need to process your personal information for additional purposes. For example, your personal information may be used to validate your entry, make the reward available to you if you are a winner and potentially share your personal information with 3rd parties (including 3rd parties in other countries) who need to know. We will ensure those 3rd parties have adequate data protection safeguards in place. Mukuru also announces the Winners on social media. If the Competition includes Mukuru wanting to post photos of you as a winner on social media, you will be asked if you agree thereto. By entering the Competition, you consent to us processing your personal information for the Competition.
Entrants who fulfill the requirements of the clause 2.1 above will be referred to as “Qualifying Participants” for the Competition.
The Prize
All Qualifying Participants who meet the entry requirements will be entered into a random draw to stand a chance to win 2 (two) tickets to the EFC Fight Night on 9 May 2024 (“the Prize”).
Each winner will receive 2 (two) tickets for the EFC Fight Night, resulting in a total of 20 (twenty) tickets to be won by 10 (ten) Winners.
Photos and/or videos will be taken by Mukuru of the Winners enjoying the Prize. These photos and video footage will be shared by Mukuru on Mukuru Social Media Platforms and may be used on broadcasting platforms. Should you refuse consent to photos/videos being posted of you, please indicate this to the Mukuru Marketing representative.
Exclusions
Each Winner will be liable for all other costs that may be associated with utilizing the Prize, including but not limited to travel to and from the EFC venue, accommodation, refreshments, etc.
The Winners will be announced on 8th May 2024. The Winners will be contacted directly and via the comment section on the platform on which they commented in terms of clause 2.1.
Winners will be tagged in the post they commented on, alternatively, be asked to contact Mukuru via direct message to provide Mukuru with their telephone number and/or e-mail address via a direct message to the official Mukuru Facebook account, whereafter the tickets will be shared with them.
Should a Winner not respond to the tag or direct message from Mukuru on the Competition Facebook post within 48 hours, they will forfeit the Prize and the next Qualifying Participant will be contacted.
General
Mukuru and EFC employees and agents will not be allowed to enter the Competition.
Qualifying Participants must be 18 years or older.
A Qualifying Participant can only win once during the Competition Period.
Prize cannot be exchanged for cash or any other reward.
If for any reason, the Competition cannot run as planned because of date availability any technical failures, vehicle problems, unauthorised intervention, computer virus, mobile network failure, tampering, fraud or any other causes beyond our control which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, we reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify, suspend or cancel the Competition and/or to disqualify any individual who (whether directly or indirectly) causes (or has caused) the problem.
Mukuru and the EFC may vary the terms of or cancel the Competition at any time. Mukuru and the EFC may vary or cancel the Competition at any time without any liability to any person involved directly or indirectly in the Competition.
Mukuru and the EFC cannot be held liable for any type of loss, expense or damage to any person participating in the Competition.
Neither Mukuru, the EFC nor its agents shall be responsible for any loss or misdirected entries, including entries that were not received due to any failure of hardware, software, or other computer or technical systems affecting participating and/or prize redemption process of the Competition.
A failure by Mukuru or the EFC to enforce any one of the terms and conditions in any instance(s) will not give rise to any claim or right of action by any Qualifying Participant or winner. If Mukuru does not enforce a provision, this will not mean that Mukuru has given up on or lost any rights.
Mukuru and the EFC will not assume any liability to any participant, Qualifying Participant, or prize winner in connection with or arising out of the Competition however it is caused, including for any costs, expenses, forfeited prizes, damages and other liabilities
These Competition Terms and Conditions are governed by and determined in accordance with the laws of South Africa.
