The Mukuru Easter ScooterCompetition (“the Competition”) is being run by Mukuru Africa (Pty) Ltd (Company Registration number 2013/003424/07) (“Mukuru”) between 21 March 2022 and 17 April 2022 (“the Competition Period”) subject to these specific terms and conditions and the general terms and conditions for competitions and Competitions which can be found at www.mukuru.com (“Competition Ts & Cs”).
By participating in the Competition, you confirm that you have read and agree to be legally bound by the Competition Ts & Cs.

Competition Entry Requirements:
To qualify to participate in the Competition, you must:
be a registered Mukuru Customer living in South Africa (as defined by Mukuru); and
send R700 (Seven Hundred Rand) or more from South Africa to a recipient of your choice, during the Competition Period; and
be in possession of a valid identity document/passport as well as either a Traffic Register Certificate or a South African license to operate a motorcycle; and
be in possession of proof of residence not older than three (3) months; and
you must comply with these terms and conditions.
Persons who fulfil the requirements of clause 2.1 above will be referred to as “Qualifying Participants” for the purposes of the Competition.
Mukuru must process your personal information to validate your entry and if you are a winner, to make the reward available to you. By entering the Competition, you consent to us processing your personal information for this purpose. If you do not consent, please do not enter the Competition.
The Reward
All Qualifying Participants will be entered into a draw to stand a chance of winning one of twenty (20) scooters (“ the Reward” ). The scooter brand and type will be at the sole discretion of Mukuru.
A random draw will take place on the 2nd of May 2022 and the winners of the prizes set out in 3.2 will be contacted telephonically within 48 hours of winning and may also be announced on social media. If Mukuru is unable to contact the winner within 3 (three) attempts over two days, then the Reward will be forfeited.
The winner will have 48 (forty eight) hours within which to supply Mukuru with copies of the documentation set out in clauses 2.1.3 and 2.1.4. If the winner is unable to supply Mukuru with the aforementioned documents within 48 (forty eight) hours, the winner will forfeit the Reward.
If the winner complies with the provisions of clause 3.3 above, Mukuru will register the scooter in the name of the winner at its own cost.
The winner will be required to collect the Reward at his/her own cost at a Mukuru branch or such other place as Mukuru may make it available to the winner from time to time.
General
Mukuru employees will not be allowed to enter the Competition.
Qualifying Participants must be 18 years or older.
Qualifying Participants cannot participate in the Competition more than once.
If for any reason, the Competition cannot run as planned because of any technical failures, unauthorised intervention, computer virus, mobile network failure, stock unavailability, tampering, fraud or any other causes beyond our control which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, we reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify, suspend or cancel the Competition and/or to disqualify any individual who (whether directly or indirectly) causes (or has caused) the problem.
Mukuru may vary the terms of or cancel the Competition at any time. Mukuru may vary or cancel the Competition at any time without any liability to any person involved directly or indirectly in the Competition.
The reward is not transferrable for cash or otherwise.
Mukuru cannot be held liable for any loss, expense or damage to any person participating in the Competition. Mukuru does not endorse the Reward and the Reward is made available “as is”. Any warranties available in respect of the Reward will be those made available by the manufacturer and Mukuru makes no warranties as to merchantability , functionality, fit-for-purpose or quality.
A failure by Mukuru to enforce any one of the terms and conditions in any instance(s) will not give rise to any claim or right of action by any Qualifying Participant. If Mukuru does not enforce a provision,this will not mean that Mukuru has given up on or lost any rights.
Mukuru will not assume any liability to any participant, or Qualifying Participant in connection with or arising out of the Competition however it is caused, including for any costs, expenses, forfeited rewards, damages and other liabilities
