1. Introduction 
    1. The Mukuru Tanzania Airtel and Mpesa Campaign (“the Campaign”) is being run by Mukuru Africa (Pty) Ltd with registration number 2013/003424/07 (“Mukuru”) between 15 June 2022 – 15 September 2022 (“the Campaign Period”) subject to these specific terms and conditions and the general terms and conditions for competitions and Competitions which can be found at www.mukuru.com (“Competition Ts & Cs”).  
    2. By participating in the Campaign, you confirm that you have read and agree to be legally bound by the Competition Ts & Cs.

  2. Campaign Entry Requirements:  
    1. To qualify to participate in the Campaign, you must: 
      1. be a registered Mukuru Customer (as defined by Mukuru); and
      2. send any amount from South Africa to a recipient located in Tanzania, via a Mukuru Order into the recipient’s Airtel or Mpesa wallet, during the Campaign Period; and 
      3. you must comply with these terms and conditions.
    2. Persons who fulfil the requirements of clause 2.1 above will be referred to as “Qualifying Participants” for the purposes of the Campaign. 
    3. Important: This campaign is not being run in Malawi and thus, sending from Malawi to Tanzania will not qualify as an entry into the campaign. 
  3. The Reward 
    1. All Qualifying Participants will only pay a Mukuru charge equal to 3% (Three Percent) of their applicable Mukuru order. For the avoidance of doubt, the foreign exchange rate on an order is separate from charges charged by Mukuru on an order and will thus remain fully payable. 
  4. General  
    1. Mukuru employees will not be allowed to enter the Campaign.  
    2. Qualifying Participants must be 18 years or older. 
    3. If for any reason, the Campaign cannot run as planned because of any technical failures, unauthorised intervention, computer virus, mobile network failure, stock unavailability, tampering, fraud or any other causes beyond our control which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Campaign, we reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify, suspend or cancel the Campaign and/or to disqualify any individual who (whether directly or indirectly) causes (or has caused) the problem.  
    4. Mukuru may vary the terms of or cancel the Campaign at any time. Mukuru may vary or cancel the Campaign at any time without any liability to any person involved directly or indirectly in the Campaign.  
    5. The reward is not transferrable for cash or otherwise.  
    6. Mukuru cannot be held liable for any loss, expense or damage to any person participating in the Campaign. 
    7. A failure by Mukuru to enforce any one of the terms and conditions in any instance(s) will not give rise to any claim or right of action by any Qualifying Participant. If Mukuru does not enforce a provision, this will not mean that Mukuru has given up on or lost any rights. 
    8. Mukuru will not assume any liability to any participant, or Qualifying Participant in connection with or arising out of the Campaign however it is caused, including for any costs, expenses, forfeited rewards, damages and other liabilities  
    9. These Campaign Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa.
