The Mukuru February Card Digital Campaign (“the Campaign”) is being run by Mukuru Financial Services (Pty) Ltd (Company Registration number 2008/025860/07 and FSP license number 45517) (“Mukuru”) from 1 February 2022 to 28 February 2022 (“the Campaign Period”) subject to these specific terms and conditions and the general terms and conditions for Campaigns which can be found at www.mukuru.com (“Campaign Ts & Cs”)
By participating in the Campaign, you confirm that you have read and agree to be legally bound by the Campaign Ts & Cs (as may be applicable).

Campaign Entry Requirements:
In order to qualify for entry into the Campaign you must:
be a registered holder of a valid, unexpired Mukuru Card;
successfully transact on your Mukuru Card a minimum of 3 (three) times using 3 (three) different transaction types during the Campaign Period. Transaction types on your Mukuru Card are:
receiving your salary on your Mukuru Card; or
buying airtime or electricity with your Mukuru Card; or
shopping online using your Mukuru Card; or
paying for DSTV with your Mukuru Card, or
getting cashback onto your Mukuru Card; or
swiping your Mukuru Card at a retail outlet for purchases.
For the avoidance of doubt – you cannot transact three times by using the same transaction type, thus you cannot for example buy airtime or electricity three times in order to qualify for the campaign.

Mukuru must process your personal information to validate your entry and if you are a winner, to make the Prize available to you. By entering the Campaign, you consent to us processing your personal information for this purpose. If you do not consent, please do not enter the Campaign.
Participants who fulfil the requirements of clause 2.1 and 2.2 above will be referred to as “Qualifying Participants” for the purposes of the Campaign.
Winners selection
There will be a total of ten (10) random winner selected from the Qualifying Participants, during the Campaign Period.
Selection and announcement:
Two winners will be randomly selected and announced on 7 February 2022, and
Two winners will be randomly selected and announced on 14 February 2022; and
Three winners will be randomly selected and announced on 21 February 2022; and
Three winners will be randomly selected and announced on 1 March 2022.
Each winner will win R5000 (Five Thousand Rand) (“the Prize”). The total Campaign prize value for all the winners combined will thus be R50,000 (Fifty Thousand Rand).
Announcement of winners
The winners will be contacted telephonically and will be announced on Mukuru’s social media platforms;
If Mukuru is unable to contact the winner within 5 (five) working days, then the prize will be forfeited. It is a requirement for a winner to successfully contacted by Mukuru before being able to win a prize.
Payment of Prizes
For each winner, the Prize amount will be paid into the winner’s Mukuru Card within 7 (seven) working days from end of the Campaign Period (only into the Mukuru Card set out in clause 2.1.2).
General
Mukuru employees will not be allowed to enter the Campaign.
Qualifying Participants must be 18 years or older.
Qualifying Participants cannot win more than one Prize during the Campaign Period.
If for any reason, the Campaign cannot run as planned because of any technical failures, unauthorised intervention, computer virus, mobile network failure, tampering, fraud or any other causes beyond our control which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Campaign, we reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify, suspend or cancel the Campaign and/or to disqualify any individual who (whether directly or indirectly) causes (or has caused) the problem.
Mukuru may vary the terms of or cancel the Campaign at any time. Mukuru may vary or cancel the Campaign at any time without any liability to any person involved directly or indirectly in the Campaign.
Mukuru cannot be held liable for any loss, expense or damage to any person participating in the Campaign.
Neither Mukuru nor its agents shall be responsible for any loss or misdirected entries, including entries that were not received due to any failure of hardware, software, or other computer or technical systems affecting participating and/or prize redemption process of the Campaign.
A failure by Mukuru to enforce any one of the terms and conditions in any instance(s) will not give rise to any claim or right of action by any Qualifying Entrant or winner. If Mukuru does not enforce a provision, this will not mean that Mukuru has given up on or lost any rights.
Mukuru will not assume any liability to any participant, Qualifying Participant, or prize winner in connection with or arising out of the Campaign however it is caused, including for any costs, expenses, forfeited prizes, damages and other liabilities
These Campaign Terms and Conditions are governed by and determined in accordance with the laws of South Africa.
