Mukuru does more than help you send money home – we also bring people together. That’s why we sponsored the Jacaranda Music Festival! On 6 October, music lovers from across Harare and beyond came together to see some of Africa’s biggest stars perform. A line-up of diverse and talented musicians wowed the crowd – including legendary performers Yvonne Chaka Chaka and Oliver Mtukudzi who delighted festival-goers young and old alike.
South African band Mi Casa rocked the stage, performing hits including ‘Turn you on’ and ‘Kidja’. Local acts Mokoomba, Mbeu, Norman Masamba, Berita Khumalo, Masa Caroleen, Gemma Griffiths, The Movement, DJ Chucknosi, Jesa, and Evicted kept festival attendees on their feet throughout the event.
