Terms & Conditions for the Mukuru EPP Finmark Trust Grant Campaign
Introduction
The Mukuru EPP Finmark Trust Grant Campaign (“the Campaign”) is being run by Remitix Limited (Company Registration number 5270734) (“Mukuru”) between 13 July 2023 – 10 September 2023 (“the Campaign Period”) subject to these specific terms and conditions and the general terms and conditions for Campaigns and Campaigns which can be found at www.mukuru.com (“Campaign Ts & Cs”).
By participating in the Campaign, you confirm that you have read and agree to be legally bound by the Campaign Ts & Cs.

Campaign Entry Requirements:
To qualify to participate in the Campaign, you must:
be 25 years or older and reside in either Botswana or Zimbabwe; and
have a business in Botswana or Zimbabwe in operation for two or more years; and
Persons who fulfil the requirements of clause 2.1 above will be referred to as “Qualifying Participants” for the purposes of the Campaign.
Mukuru must process your personal information to validate your entry and if you are a winner, to make the reward available to you. By entering the Campaign, you consent to us processing your personal information for this purpose. If you do not consent, please do not enter the Campaign. You understand that if you are a grant recipient, you will be required to provide additional information to Mukuru on how the funds were used, how it has affected your business and the like.
The Reward
At the end of the Campaign Period, an investment committee consisting of representatives from the UK Embassy, Finmark Trust and Mukuru will choose 100 (one hundred) grant recipients from the pool of Qualifying Participants. The grant recipients will be at the investment committee’s sole discretion.
A grant recipient from Botswana will receive a once-off amount of up to BWP13,500 (Thirteen thousand five hundred Pula) or a grant recipient from Zimbabwe will receive a once-off amount of up to USD1000 (One thousand US Dollars). The grant amount that a grant recipient will receive will be at the discretion of the investment committee and they will make this decision based on the merit of each business case submitted.
No representation is made that a grant recipient will receive any additional or further amounts at any time.
The grant recipients will be contacted telephonically within 48 hours of the grant being awarded. If Mukuru is unable to contact the grant recipient within 3 (three) attempts then the grant will be forfeited.
The grant recipients will be able to collect their grants from a Mukuru booth or branch from the end of September 2023 by showing proof of identity.
General
Mukuru employees and agents will not be allowed to enter the Campaign.
Qualifying Participants must be 25 years or older.
If for any reason, the Campaign cannot run as planned because of any technical failures, unauthorised intervention, computer virus, mobile network failure, stock unavailability, tampering, fraud or any other causes beyond our control which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Campaign, we reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify, suspend or cancel the Campaign and/or to disqualify any individual who (whether directly or indirectly) causes (or has caused) the problem.
Mukuru may vary the terms of or cancel the Campaign at any time. Mukuru may vary or cancel the Campaign at any time without any liability to any person involved directly or indirectly in the Campaign.
Mukuru cannot be held liable for any loss, expense or damage to any person participating in the Campaign.
A failure by Mukuru to enforce any one of the terms and conditions in any instance(s) will not give rise to any claim or right of action by any Qualifying Participant. If Mukuru does not enforce a provision, this will not mean that Mukuru has given up on or lost any rights.
Mukuru will not assume any liability to any participant, or Qualifying Participant in connection with or arising out of the Campaign however it is caused, including for any costs, expenses, forfeited rewards, damages and other liabilities.
These Campaign Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of UK.
