Terms & Conditions for the Share & Win Competition

  1. Introduction
    1. The Share & Win Competition (“the Competition”) is being run by Remitix Limited (Company Registration number 5270734) trading as Mukuru (“Mukuru”) from 3 April 2020 – 24 April 2020 (“the Competition Period”) subject to these specific terms and conditions and the general terms and conditions for Competitions which can be found at www.remitix.com (“Competition Ts & Cs”)  https://www.mukuru.com/en-uk/Competition-terms-conditions/ 
    2. By participating in the Competition, you confirm that you have read and agree to be legally bound by these terms as well as the Competition Ts & Cs (as may be applicable).

  2. Competition Participation Requirements
    1. To qualify to participate in the Competition you must:
      1. share the Competition post from MukuruUK’s Facebook page and:
        1. tag a friend; or 
        2. share a photo of you or your recipient collecting the money sent using the Mukuru Service on the post.  
      2. abide by all applicable Ts & Cs.
    2. By entering the Competition, you are granting Mukuru permission and authority to use your name and any photo you use in this Competition for the purposes of this Competition and for any other marketing communication.
    3. Participants who fulfil the requirements of clause 2.1 and 2.2 above will be referred to as “Qualifying Participants” for the purposes of the Competition.
  3. The Prize(s) 
    1. Fifteen (15) Qualifying Participants will win £50 each which will either be sent to the winner’s bank account or which the winner may choose to remit to a recipient of his/her choice in applicable countries, using the Mukuru Service (less applicable remittance fees) (the “Prize”).
  4. Winners Selection
    1. Fifteen (15) Qualifying Participants will be randomly selected as the winners.
  5. Announcement of winners 
    1. Five (5) winners will be announced on 10 April 2020, five (5) winners will be announced on 17 April 2020 and five (5) winners will be announced on 24 April 2020 respectively.  Therefore a total of fifteen winners. 
    2. Mukuru will comment on the Winner’s Facebook post and ask the Winner to provide Mukuru with their email and telephone number in order to receive the Prize.  
    3. If Mukuru is not able to reach the winner within 3 days of the winner selection, then the prize will be forfeited. 
  6. General 
    1. Mukuru employees will not be allowed to enter the Competition. 
    2. If for any reason, the Competition cannot run as planned because of any technical failures, unauthorised intervention, computer virus, mobile network failure, tampering, fraud or any other causes beyond our control which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, we reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify, suspend or cancel the Competition and/or to disqualify any individual who (whether directly or indirectly) causes (or has caused) the problem. 
    3. Mukuru may vary the terms of or cancel the Competition at any time. Mukuru may vary or cancel the Competition at any time without any liability to any person involved directly or indirectly in the Competition. 
    4. Mukuru cannot be held liable for any loss, expense or damage to any person participating in the Competition.
    5. A failure by Mukuru to enforce any one of the terms and conditions in any instance(s) will not give rise to any claim or right of action by any Qualifying Participant. If Mukuru does not enforce a provision, this will not mean that Mukuru has given up on or lost any rights.
    6. Mukuru will not assume any liability to any participant or Qualifying Participant in connection with or arising out of the Competition however it is caused, including for any costs, expenses, damages and other liabilities 
    7. These Competition Terms and Conditions are governed by and determined in accordance with the laws of England.
