The Zambia Pay Cellular Campaign (“the Campaign”) is being run by Mukuru Money Transfer Limited (Company Registration number 120130109728) (“Mukuru”) from 17 December 2024 – 28 February 2025 (“the Campaign Period”) subject to these specific terms and conditions and the general terms and conditions for Competitions and Campaigns which can be found at www.mukuru.com (“Campaign Ts & Cs”).
By participating in the Campaign, you confirm that you have read and agree to be legally bound by the Campaign Ts & Cs.

Campaign Entry Requirements:
To qualify to participate in the Campaign, you must:
be a registered Zambian Mukuru Customer as defined by Mukuru;
be living in Zambia at the time;
Pay for your Mukuru money transfer of a minimum of K1,000 (one thousand kwacha) using your Airtel Money, MTN MoMo, or Zamtel Mobile Wallet, as per the steps set out below (“Qualifying Spend”):
Dial +260 211 445 676 from your Mukuru-registered number and choose the Send Money option.
Enter your recipient’s details.
Select your preferred payment method (MTN MoMo, Airtel Money, or Zamtel Mobile Wallet).
Confirm your transaction by entering your PIN.
Your recipient will receive the collection message – and you’re automatically entered into the draw.
Persons who fulfill the requirements of clause 2.1 above will be referred to as “Qualifying Participants” for the Campaign.
Mukuru, Airtel, MTN or Zamtel may process your personal information when you use the Mukuru Service. Protecting your personal information is important to both parties and processing is done according to their respective Privacy Notices. When Mukuru runs Competitions or Campaigns and you qualify for a Prize, Mukuru or Airtel, MTN or Zamtel will need to process your personal information for additional purposes. For example, your personal information may be used to validate your entry, make the Prize available to you if you are a Winner and potentially share your personal information with 3rd parties (including 3rd parties in other countries) who need to know. We will ensure those 3rd parties have adequate data protection safeguards in place. Mukuru and/or Airtel, MTN or Zamtel also announces the Winners on their social media platforms and if this Campaign includes Mukuru or Airtel, MTN or Zamtel wanting to post names, photos, or videos of you as a Winner on their social media, you will be asked if you agree thereto, and you have the right to withhold consent.
The Prize
Four (4) winners (each a “Winner”) will be selected each month (for a total of twelve (12) Winners over the Campaign Period), with one (1) first Prize winner, one (1) second Prize winner, one (1) third Prize winner, and one (1) fourth Prize winner being chosen at the end ofeach month from among the Qualifying Participants.
The prizes (each a “Prize” and collectively the “Prizes”) awarded each month are as follows:
First Prize: K1,000 (one thousand kwacha) in cash;
Second Prize: K500 (five hundred kwacha) worth of airtime;
Third Prize: A meal voucher valued at K350 (three hundred and fifty kwacha) for use at a selected reputable restaurant or hotel, as determined by Mukuru; and
Fourth Prize: Mukuru-branded merchandise (e.g., T-shirts, water bottles, or caps).
The Winners will be selected at random from all Qualifying Participants at the end of each month during the Campaign Period. Mukuru’s decision regarding the Winners is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
Winners for each monthly draw will be announced on Mukuru’s official Facebook page on 3 January 2025, 3 February 2025, and 3 March 2025 respectively.
All Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and, except for the first Prize which is awarded in cash, cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of compensation. Mukuru reserves the right to substitute any Prize, or any part thereof, with an alternative Prize of equal or greater value should any element of the advertised Prize become unavailable.
Winners must collect their Prize at their nearest Mukuru branch as agreed upon with Mukuru when the Winner is contacted. The Winner shall bear all costs or expenses related to traveling to and from the collection point.
Winners will be required to present a valid form of identification (e.g., national ID or passport) at the time of collecting their Prize. Failure to present satisfactory identification may result in forfeiture of the Prize.
Mukuru will make 3 attempts to contact each Winner 3 times over 48 hours. If a Winner is not successfully contacted, they forfeit the Prize, and the next Winner will be contacted.
Except to the extent prohibited by law, Mukuru assumes no liability for any loss, damage, or injury (whether direct, indirect, special, or consequential) arising out of, or in connection with, the awarding, receipt, possession, use, or enjoyment of any Prize.
By accepting a Prize, each Winner agrees that Mukuru may use their name or likeness in marketing and promotional material, including announcements of the Winners on Mukuru’s official Facebook page, without any additional payment or compensation, subject to applicable laws.
All Prizes must be claimed in Zambia. The campaign is valid only within Zambia and only for Qualifying Participants who meet the requirements of these Terms and Conditions.
General

Qualifying Participants must be 18 years or older.
Qualifying Participants may enter the Campaign multiple times by performing additional Qualifying Sends. However, weekly Winners are not able to win more than once during the Campaign Period.
If for any reason, the Campaign cannot run as planned because of any technical failures, unauthorised intervention, computer virus, mobile network failure, stock unavailability, tampering, fraud or any other causes beyond our control which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Campaign, we reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify, suspend or cancel the Campaign and/or to disqualify any individual who (whether directly or indirectly) causes (or has caused) the problem.
Mukuru may vary the terms of or cancel the Campaign at any time. Mukuru may vary or cancel the Campaign at any time without any liability to any person involved directly or indirectly in the Campaign.
Mukuru cannot be held liable for any failure to deliver the vouchers which is attributable to Airtel, MTN or Zamtel, or technical failures outside of Mukuru’s control.
Mukuru cannot be held liable for any loss, expense or damage to any person participating in the Campaign.
A failure by Mukuru to enforce any one of the terms and conditions in any instance(s) will not give rise to any claim or right of action by any Qualifying Participant. If Mukuru does not enforce a provision, this will not mean that Mukuru has given up on or lost any rights.
Mukuru will not assume any liability to any participant, or Qualifying Participant in connection with or arising out of the Campaign however it is caused, including for any costs, expenses, forfeited rewards, damages, and other liabilities
These Campaign Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Zambia.
