The Mukuru “Send More Money & Win (Tuma Ndalama Wina!)” Campaign (“the Campaign”) is run by Mukuru Money Transfer Limited (Company Registration Number 120130109728) (“Mukuru”) from 10 February 2025 – 28 February 2025, or until Mukuru decides to end the Campaign (“the Campaign Period”), subject to these specific terms and conditions (“Specific Ts & Cs”) and the general terms and conditions for campaigns found at www.mukuru.com (“General Campaign Ts & Cs”), together the “Campaign Ts and Cs”.
By participating in the Campaign, you confirm that you have read and agree to be legally bound by the Campaign Ts & Cs.

Campaign Entry Requirements:
To qualify to participate in the Campaign, you must:
Be a registered Mukuru customer in Zambia.
Send at least 1,500 Zambian Kwacha using Mukuru’s service during the Campaign Period.
For entry into the mystery prize draw on 14 February 2025, be one of the first eight Mukuru customers at any of the following designated Mukuru branches or service centres to send or receive 1,500 Zambian Kwacha strictly on 14 February 2025:
Mukuru branches: Livingstone Branch, Arcades Branch, Oasis Mall Branch, Ndola Branch, Kitwe Branch, Embassy Branch, Central Park Branch.
Mukuru service centres: Chirundu Service Centre,Kaumbalesa (Travelex X) Service Centre, Mukuba Mall A plus Service Centre, Kabanana Service Centre, Munali Service Centre
For entry into the cash voucher random draw, meet the above eligibility by sending at least 1,500 Zambian Kwacha during the Campaign Period.
Only individuals who are 18 years or older and who have a valid Mukuru account are eligible to participate.
“Qualifying Participants” will be those who fulfill the requirements set out in 2.1 and 2.2 above.
Mukuru processes your personal information when you use the Mukuru service. Protecting your personal information is important to Mukuru and processing is done according to our Privacy Notice. When we run Campaigns and you qualify for a prize, Mukuru will need to process your personal information for additional purposes. For example, your personal information may be used to validate your entry, make the prize available to you if you are a winner and potentially share your personal information with 3rd parties (including 3rd parties in other countries) who have a need to know. We will ensure those 3rd parties have adequate data protection safeguards in place. Mukuru may also announces the winners on social media or live on broadcast air. If the Campaign includes Mukuru wanting to post photos of you as a winner on social media, you will be asked if you agree thereto. By entering this Campaign, you consent to Mukuru processing your personal information for the purposes of validating your entry, awarding the prize, and making any related announcements regarding the Campaign.
The Prize
The Campaign comprises two prize components:
Mystery Prizes: A total of 96 mystery prizes will be awarded. At each of the designated Mukuru booths and branches listed in Clause 2.1.3, the first eight customers who send or receive a minimum of 1,500 Zambian Kwacha on 14 February 2025 will win a mystery prize. The specific nature of the mystery prize will be communicated at the time of collection.
Cash Voucher Prizes: A total of 8 cash voucher prizes will be awarded via a random draw, which will take place on 3 March 2025. Of these, one winner (the grand prize winner) will receive a cash voucher valued at K3,500, and the remaining seven winners will each receive a cash voucher valued at K1,000.
All prizes are awarded subject to the successful fulfilment of the Campaign Entry Requirements set out in Section 2. No partial prizes will be awarded.
Winners of the Mystery Prizes must collect their prizes at one of the physical Mukuru branches or Mukuru service centres as identified in 2.1.3. Winners of the Cash Voucher Prizes will receive their prize via Mukuru mobile money transfer after identity verification, within seven (7) working days following the random draw.
For the avoidance of doubt, winners of the Mystery Prizes will not be entitled to exchange their prize(s) for cash.
Winner Announcement & Notification
Mystery Prize Winners:
On 14 February 2025, at each designated location (see Clause 2.1.3), the first eight customers who meet the entry requirements will be deemed mystery prize winners. They must present valid identification (ID or Passport) and their Mukuru account details when collecting their prize at either one of the listed Mukuru branches or one of the listed Mukuru service centres.
Cash Voucher Winners:
All eligible entries (from customers who sent at least 1,500 Zambian Kwacha during the Campaign Period) will be included in a single random draw on 3 March 2025. The 8 winners selected through the draw will be notified via SMS and/or email. Upon notification, winners will be given a reasonable opportunity to opt out of having their name or photograph publicized on social media or other promotional materials.
Any winner (mystery prize or cash voucher) who does not wish to have their name or photograph used in any publicity material must notify Mukuru immediately upon prize collection or SMS notification. In such cases, Mukuru will respect your privacy and will not use your details for promotional purposes.
All winners must verify their identity by providing a valid ID or Passport number together with their Mukuru account details. Mukuru will attempt to contact each potential winner up to three (3) times over a period of 24 hours. If a winner cannot be contacted or fails to provide the necessary verification within that period, the prize will be forfeited and Mukuru reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
General
Mukuru employees and agents (including their immediate family members) are not allowed to enter the Campaign.
Winners cannot decline a prize they have rightfully won or request a different prize.
Mukuru reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Campaign at any time if technical failures, unauthorized intervention, or any other causes beyond its control affect the fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Campaign.
If the Campaign is terminated early, any winners determined prior to termination will still receive their prizes, provided they have complied with the Campaign Ts and Cs.
The prize is not transferable for cash or any other item, unless otherwise stated in the Campaign Ts and Cs. or agreed in writing by Mukuru.
Mukuru will not be liable for any costs, damages, or losses incurred by any participant or winner in connection with this Campaign. The prize is provided “as is,” without any warranties other than those given by the original issuer (if applicable).
Failure by Mukuru to enforce any of these T&Cs does not constitute a waiver of those terms and does not give rise to any claim by any participant.
These T&Cs are governed by the laws of Zambia. By entering the Campaign, you agree to indemnify Mukuru against any claims or liabilities arising from your participation or acceptance of a prize.
Acceptance
By participating in this Campaign, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the Campaign Ts and Cs.
