STEP 2
Get Documents Ready
We have two Mukuru account types which requiring the following for activation.
OPTION 1
Light Registration
What you need:
Proof of Identity
Bring one of the following
- Identity Document
- Foreign Passport
OPTION 2
Full Registration
What you need:
You’ll need proof of identity as above and the following.
Proof of Income
Bring one of the following
- Payslip from your employer.
- Letter of Employment plus Form (1).
- Self Employed Form, stamped by local police station.
Proof of Residency
Bring one of the following
- A utility bill. Example: An electricity, telephone or television account that contains your address.
- Bank Statement
- Landlord’s letter confirming you are staying at his/her address PLUS a utility bill in the landlord’s name.

Place Your Money Transfer Order
Simply tell us how much, to whom and where you want to send money.
or visit any of our booths to send your money.

Collect Your Cash
Visit any of our payout partners across South Africa.
