Terms & Conditions for Pay your DSTV via Mukuru and win 

  1. Introduction
    1. The Mukuru Zimbabwe Pay your DSTV via Mukuru and Win (“the Competition”) is being run by Send Money Home Private Limited  (Company Registration number 1446/2012 ) (“Mukuru”) from  26 July 2023 to 30 September 2023 (“the Competition Period”) subject to these specific terms and conditions and the general terms and conditions for competitions and Competitions which can be found at www.mukuru.com (“Competition Ts & Cs”). 
    2. By participating in the Competition, you confirm that you have read and agree to be legally bound by the Competition Ts & Cs.

  2. Competition Entry Requirements:
    1. To qualify to participate in the Competition, you must:
      1. be a registered Mukuru Customer residing in Zimbabwe (as defined by Mukuru).
      2. Pay your DSTV using the Mukuru Service, during the Competition Period.
      3. You agree to comply with these terms and conditions.
    2. Persons who fulfil the requirements of clause 2.1 above will be referred to as “Qualifying Participants” for the purposes of the Competition.
  3. The Reward
    1. Mukuru will conduct weekly prize draws (ten weeks in total). All of the applicable Qualifying Participants (who paid their DSTV in that applicable week) will together be entered into the applicable draw and will stand a chance of winning one of 5 (five) prizes of USD20 (Twenty US Dollars) each. There will be a total of 50 winners during the Competition Period.
    2. Winners of the prizes will be contacted telephonically between 4 August 2023 and 6 October 2023 and will also be announced once via social media.
    3. If Mukuru is unable to contact the winner telephonically after three (3) tries, then the prize will be forfeited.
    4. The winner must be able to present an ID, passport, or driver’s license to claim their prize in cash at a Mukuru branch or orange booth.
  4. General
    1. Mukuru agents and employees will not be allowed to enter the Competition. 
    2. Qualifying Participants must be 18 years or older.
    3. Qualifying Participants can participate in the Competition many times but cannot win more than once during the Competition Period.
    4. If for any reason, the Competition cannot run as planned because of any technical failures, unauthorised intervention, computer virus, mobile network failure, stock unavailability, tampering, fraud or any other causes beyond our control which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, we reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify, suspend or cancel the Competition and/or to disqualify any individual who (whether directly or indirectly) causes (or has caused) the problem. 
    5. Mukuru may vary the terms of or cancel the Competition at any time. Mukuru may vary or cancel the Competition at any time without any liability to any person involved directly or indirectly in the Competition. 
    6. A failure by Mukuru to enforce any one of the terms and conditions in any instance(s) will not give rise to any claim or right of action by any Qualifying Participant. If Mukuru does not enforce a provision, this will not mean that Mukuru has given up on or lost any rights.
    7. Mukuru will not assume any liability to any participant, or Qualifying Participant in connection with or arising out of the Competition or a prize however it is caused, including for any costs, expenses, forfeited rewards, damages and other liabilities. 
    8. These Competition Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Zimbabwe.
