Terms & Conditions for the UK to Zim – Pay Zero Fees to a Mukuru Wallet Campaign

  1. Introduction
    1. The Mukuru “UK to Zim – Pay Zero Fees to a Mukuru Wallet in Zim” Campaign (“the Campaign”) is run by Remitix Limited (Company Registration Number 05270734) (“Mukuru”) from 15 October 2025 to 31 December 2025, or until Mukuru decides to end the Campaign (“the Campaign Period”), subject to these specific terms and conditions (“Specific Ts & Cs”) and the general terms and conditions for promotions found at www.mukuru.com (“General Campaign Ts & Cs”), together the “Campaign Ts & Cs”.
    2. By participating in the Campaign, you confirm that you have read and agree to be legally bound by the Campaign Ts & Cs.

  2. Campaign Entry Requirements: 
    1. To qualify to participate in the Campaign, you must:
      1. be a registered Mukuru customer; and
      2. during the Campaign Period, send money from the United Kingdom to a Mukuru Wallet in Zimbabwe using Mukuru’s international money transfer service (the “Qualifying Send”).
    2. The Campaign applies only to Qualifying Sends from the UK to Zimbabwe where the recipient payout method is a Mukuru Wallet in Zimbabwe. Sends to other payout methods, or to destinations other than Zimbabwe, do not qualify.
    3. A Qualifying Send that is reversed, cancelled or refunded (in full or in part) will not be eligible for the Campaign benefit.
    4. Mukuru processes your personal information when you use the Mukuru service and will process it for purposes related to this Campaign (including validating Qualifying Sends, applying the benefit, and any related customer service). Processing is done according to our Privacy Notice and may involve third parties that provide services to us, subject to appropriate safeguards.
  3. The Campaign Benefit
    1. Qualifying customers who send money from the UK to a Mukuru Wallet in Zimbabwe during the Campaign Period will pay zero Mukuru transfer fees on that Qualifying Send (“the Benefit”).
    2. The Benefit will be automatically applied at the time the Qualifying Send is created. If, for any technical reason, the Benefit is not applied at order creation, Mukuru may review and, if eligible, rectify the fee application.
    3. The Benefit waives the Mukuru transfer fee only. All other amounts that may apply to the transaction (for example, FX rates/margins, third-party or network charges, or recipient cash-out fees charged by others) are not waived by this Campaign unless expressly stated.
    4. The Benefit is not transferable or exchangeable, has no cash value, and may be used only during the Campaign Period as set out in these Specific Ts & Cs.
    5. Mukuru reserves the right to verify eligibility and to withhold or reverse the Benefit if a transaction is found to be fraudulent, in breach of the Campaign Ts & Cs, or subsequently reversed/refunded.
  4. Announcement and Customer Notifications
    1. This is a fee-waiver Campaign. There are no draws and no winners to be announced.
    2. Where necessary (for example, to resolve a technical issue or verify a Qualifying Send), Mukuru may contact you via SMS, phone or email using the contact details associated with your Mukuru profile.
  5. General
    1. Mukuru employees and agents (including their immediate family members) may make use of Mukuru services during the Campaign Period, but Mukuru reserves the right to exclude internal test transactions or non-genuine transactions from the Benefit.
    2. Mukuru reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify the Campaign at any time including if technical failures, unauthorised intervention, regulatory requirements, or any other causes beyond its control affect the fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Campaign. If the Campaign is terminated early, any validly applied Benefits prior to termination will remain honoured.
    3. Mukuru will not be liable for any costs, damages or losses incurred by any participant in connection with this Campaign. The Benefit is provided “as is” and subject to availability, network conditions, partner systems and applicable law.
    4. If there is any conflict between these Specific Ts & Cs and the General Campaign Ts & Cs, these Specific Ts & Cs will apply to the extent of the conflict.
    5. These Campaign Ts & Cs are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms.
  6. Acceptance
    1. By participating in this Campaign, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the Campaign Ts & Cs.
