The Mukuru’s Win Win at the Mukuru Village – CeleBRAAItion Competition (“the Competition”) is being run by Remitix Ltd (Company Registration number 05270734) (“Mukuru) during the period of 09:00 am on 3 July 2026 to 15:00 on 5 July 2026 (“the Competition Period”) subject to these specific terms and conditions and the general terms and conditions for competitions and Competitions which can be found at www.mukuru.com (“Competition Ts & Cs”).
By participating in the Competition, you confirm that you have read and agree to be legally bound by the Competition Ts & Cs.

Competition Entry Requirements:
To qualify to participate in the Competition, you must:
Physically be at the Mukuru Village stand at CeleBRAAItion 2026 (“Mukuru Stand”) during the Competition Period;
during the Competition Period, follow the official Mukuru Instagram and Facebook pages;
write your full name and cell phone number on a slip of paper and drop it into the competition bucket at the Mukuru Stand; and
You must comply with these terms and conditions.
Persons who fulfil the requirements of clause 2.1 above will be referred to as “Qualifying Participants” for the purposes of the Competition.
Mukuru processes your personal information when you use the Mukuru Service. Protecting your personal information is important to Mukuru and processing is done according to our Privacy Notice. When we run competitions and you qualify for a Prize, Mukuru will need to process your personal information for additional purposes. For example, your personal information may be used to validate your entry, make the reward available to you if you are a winner and potentially share your personal information with 3rd parties (including 3rd parties in other countries) who have a need to know. We will ensure those 3rd parties have adequate data protection safeguards in place. Mukuru also announces the winner on social media. If the Competition includes Mukuru wanting to post photos or videos of you as a winner on social media, you will be asked if you agree thereto.
If a winner does not wish to have their name used in any publicity or promotional material or social media post, they must notify Mukuru immediately upon notification or at the time of Prize collection. Mukuru will respect such requests and refrain from publicizing the winner’s details.
The Prize and announcement of the winners
All Qualifying Participants will be put into a random draw and stand a chance to win one of the following prizes:
JBL Over-Ear Headset;
JBL GO 4 Portable Speaker;
Biltong machine;
SA Rugby Jersey;
Safari Hat;
Braai Tong;
Braai Apron; and
A Stanley Cup, (each a “Prize”).
A total of 79 (seventy nine) winners will be selected from the Qualifying Participants through 79 (seventy nine) single random draws during the Competition Period at the Mukuru Stand (each a “Main Draw”).
Winners of the Prizes will be contacted via the Mukuru Instagram page upon winning and will be required to be physically present at the Mukuru Stand to collect their Prize before 17:00 on the day contacted during the Competition Period. Winners will need to present a valid identification (National ID, Driver’s License, or valid Passport) to verify their identity when collecting the Prize at the Mukuru Stand.
If Mukuru is unable to contact the winner via Instagram or if the winner is not physically present at the Mukuru Stand before 17:00 on the day of contact via Instagram during the Competition Period, then the Prize will be forfeited.
Once Mukuru has confirmed the valid identification of the winner, Mukuru will announce the winner at the Mukuru Stand. The winners from the Main Draw will be invited to the Mukuru Stand on 25 July 2026 between 09:00 and 17:00 to participate in a live “lucky dip” (the “Lucky Dip”). Each winner will be required to draw one (1) folded paper from a bucket. Each paper will be marked with one of the Prizes in clause 3.1, and the Prize drawn will determine the Prize awarded to that winner. The draw is final and no substitution will be permitted.
Each winner will be filmed and photographed at the Mukuru Stand after the Lucky Dip.
The winners will be liable for all other costs associated with winning the Prize, including but not limited to travel to and from the CeleBRAAItion 2026, accommodation, refreshments etc.
General
Mukuru employees and agents will not be allowed to enter the Competition.
Qualifying Participants must be 18 years or older.
Qualifying Participants cannot win more than once, and the Prize cannot be exchanged for cash or any other currency.
If for any reason, the Competition cannot run as planned because of any technical failures, unauthorised intervention, computer virus, mobile network failure, stock unavailability, tampering, fraud or any other causes beyond our control which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, we reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify, suspend or cancel the Competition and/or to disqualify any individual who (whether directly or indirectly) causes (or has caused) the problem.
Mukuru may vary the terms of or cancel the Competition at any time. Mukuru may vary or cancel the Competition at any time without any liability to any person involved directly or indirectly in the Competition.
Mukuru cannot be held liable for any loss, expense, or damage to any person participating in the Competition.
A failure by Mukuru to enforce any one of the terms and conditions in any instance(s) will not give rise to any claim or right of action by any Qualifying Participant. If Mukuru does not enforce a provision, this will not mean that Mukuru has given up on or lost any rights.
Mukuru will not assume any liability to any participant, or Qualifying Participant in connection with or arising out of the Competition however it is caused, including for any costs, expenses, forfeited rewards, damages and other liabilities
These Competition Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
