The Mukuru “Festive Campaign 2025” Campaign (“the Campaign”) is run by Mukuru Money Transfer Ltd (Registration Number 106432062) (“Mukuru”) from 3 November 2025 to 24 December 2025, or until Mukuru decides to end the Campaign (“the Campaign Period”), subject to these specific terms and conditions (“Specific Ts & Cs”) and the general terms and conditions for promotions found at www.mukuru.com (“General Campaign Ts & Cs”), together the “Campaign Ts & Cs”
By participating in the Campaign, you confirm that you have read and agree to be legally bound by the Campaign Ts & Cs.

Campaign Entry Requirements:
To qualify to participate in the Campaign, you must:
be a registered Mukuru customer with a valid Mukuru account; and
during the Campaign Period, make a qualifying transfer using Mukuru via any Mukuru channel, including branch, booth, agent, app, WhatsApp, and website (international money transfer (IMT) and domestic money transfer (DMT) are both eligible). No minimum send amount applies. All registered customers (new or existing) may participate. Each qualifying transfer counts as one (1) entry; if the transfer is initiated using a Mukuru Card or Mukuru Wallet, the entry allocation is two (2) entries for that transfer. Reversed, cancelled or refunded transactions (in full or in part) are not eligible.
Mukuru processes your personal information to validate entries, run the Campaign draws, contact winners, deliver prizes and make related announcements, in line with its Privacy Notice. Where third parties assist, appropriate safeguards apply. Winners’ names and surnames may be published on Mukuru’s official social media platforms and may be published on our website, subject to applicable consent requirements.
The Prizes and Draw
The total prize pool for the Campaign is R600,000 (six hundred thousand Rand) in aggregate across all nine participating countries (i.e., this is a combined amount for the entire Campaign, not R600,000 per country). Where required, Mukuru may pay prizes in the local currency equivalent, calculated using the prevailing exchange rate on the date these Campaign Ts & Cs are first published.
There will be eight (8) weekly draws during the Campaign Period. In each weekly draw, prizes totalling R50,000 (or the local currency equivalent) will be awarded, comprising five (5) winners per week × R10,000 each (i.e., 40 weekly winners in total across the Campaign).
In addition to the weekly prizes, there will be one (1) Grand Prize of R200,000 (or the local currency equivalent), to be drawn on or around 22 December 2025.
The participating countries are South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, United Kingdom, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, and Lesotho.
Each week, four (4) to five (5) winners will be chosen at random from all qualifying transactions recorded during the applicable weekly draw window across the participating countries listed in clause 3.4.
To ensure fair and balanced representation across participating countries: (a) no more than two (2) winners from the same country may be selected in any given week; and (b) no more than five (5) winners from the same country may be selected across the entire Campaign (inclusive of weekly prizes and the Grand Prize). If a provisional winner would cause a cap to be exceeded, Mukuru will redraw and select an alternate provisional winner from the remaining eligible entries.
To avoid over-representation of higher-volume corridors and to reward customers in smaller markets, Mukuru will operate a draw schedule under which each country will be included in four (4) of the eight (8) weekly draws, and each country will appear in at least two (2) weekly draws.
The Grand Prize winner will be chosen at random from all qualifying transactions recorded during the Grand Prize draw window across the participating countries listed in clause 3.4, subject to the country caps in clause 3.6 and the exclusion in clause 3.10.
All prize awards are subject to verification and a winner’s compliance with these Campaign Ts & Cs (including Section 2). Transactions that are reversed, cancelled or refunded (in full or in part) are not eligible and will be excluded from the draws.
A participant who has won a weekly prize is not eligible to win the Grand Prize. If a weekly winner is drawn for the Grand Prize, Mukuru will redraw and select an alternate provisional winner from the remaining eligible entries.
Winner Announcement & Notification
Weekly prize draws will take place each week during the Campaign Period. The grand prize draw will take place on or around 22 December 2025.
Winners will be contacted directly by phone. If a winner cannot be reached after two (2) call attempts, Mukuru may select an alternate winner.
Once verified, winners’ names and surnames will be published on Mukuru’s official social media platforms and may be published on our website (subject to applicable consent). Winners may be asked to travel to their nearest Mukuru branch or booth for photo/video confirmation at their own cost.
Prize Delivery
Mukuru may, in its sole discretion, pay any prize using any supported payout method, including (without limitation) credit to a Mukuru Wallet, Mukuru Card, bank transfer, mobile money, cash collection, voucher, or any other method Mukuru determines appropriate for the winner’s jurisdiction and circumstances.
Prizes will be paid within 7–10 working days after the winner confirms the required wallet details, or after cash payout arrangements are made. Winners must present a valid ID or passport that matches their Mukuru account details.
General
Mukuru reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify the Campaign at any time, including if technical failures, unauthorised intervention, regulatory requirements, or any other causes beyond its control affect the fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Campaign. If the Campaign is terminated early, any prizes confirmed prior to termination will remain honoured.
Mukuru will not be liable for any costs, damages or losses incurred by any participant in connection with this Campaign. The prizes are provided “as is” and subject to availability, network conditions, partner systems and applicable law.
If there is any conflict between these Specific Ts & Cs and the General Campaign Ts & Cs, these Specific Ts & Cs will apply to the extent of the conflict.
These Campaign Ts & Cs are governed by the laws of Rwanda. The courts of Rwanda will have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms.

By participating in this Campaign, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the Campaign Ts & Cs.
