You can create an order in two simple ways: 

1. Click the “Send” button, which is available on the navigation bar. 
2. Alternatively, click the “Send Money” button on the dashboard rate checker. 

Follow the instructions to select or add a recipient, amount, payment method, and payout method. Select “Confirm Order” to create the order. Depending on your payment method of choice the funds may be paid instantly or settled at a later time. 

You can cancel an uncollected order through your App by selecting the order. On the order details screen select “Cancel Order”. If you paid for an order and wish to have it refunded, please contact our Mukuru support.

You can view your transaction details in three ways: 

1. Click the “Transactions” icon on the navigation bar. 
2. Select “Transactions” from the menu. 
3. View your recent transactions on your dashboard. 

To increase your send limits to CORE, follow these steps:   

1. Select “My Limits” from the menu and select “Upgrade to Core” or select “Verify Identity” on your App dashboard.  
2. Alternatively, select “View Profile” from the menu and scroll down to the Documents section and select “Manage”, and “Add document”. Follow the steps to upload the required documents.  

To increase your send limits to MAX, follow these steps:   

1. Select “Increase Send Limits” on your App dashboard if you are already on Core.  
2. Alternatively, select “My Limits” from the menu and select “Upgrade to Max”. Follow the steps to upload the required documents. 

To change a recipient’s name, follow these steps: 

1. Select “Recipients” from the menu or click the Recipients icon on the navigation bar. 
2. Click on the recipient you wish to edit.  
3. Select “Edit” on the recipient details screen. 
4. Update the recipient’s details and select “Save Changes”.

Recipients that are linked to wallets, cards, or bank accounts may not be editable on the App. Contact Mukuru support if you are unable to edit your recipient on the App. 

To change your mobile number: 

1. Select “View Profile” from the menu. 
2. On the “My Profile” screen, scroll down to the “Contact Details” section and click the edit icon next to the mobile number. Update the number and “Save Changes”.   

Once you have verified your mobile number it will be updated on your account. 

To close your Mukuru account on the App select the menu button and go to Settings. Select Delete My Profile and add the reason for leaving. Select Submit, and your request will be processed by our privacy team. Alternatively, you can email your request to [email protected]. Please ensure all pending orders are completed or cancelled before closing your account. 

Safeguarding means that we have to keep all of your money in accounts that are completely separate from the ones we use to run our business. So, if anything were to happen to Remitix Limited, your money would be safe. Not only are your funds held in dedicated safeguarding accounts which Remitix Limited holds with banks in the UK, but we also use rigorous internal safeguarding measures and procedures designed to ensure that our customers, other counterparties, and the wider market are protected in the event of financial stress.

This ensures your funds are protected and can be returned to you in the unlikely event Remitix Limited stops providing its services. In this case, the process of returning any funds owed to you would be handled by a third party and not us. Safeguarding regulations make sure that once any costs related to this third party are paid, you will be paid from the safeguarding accounts before anyone else. This means that it may take a little longer for you to receive any funds that may be owed to you.

You can send money to multiple countries. See the full list of receive countries.

You can send money in two easy ways:

1. Select the Send Money Now button that appears on the Mukuru App and Website Menu.
2. Select Your Mukuru Services on the dashboard.

These options will direct you to the Send Money section where you can select or add a recipient. Follow the prompts to pay for your Mukuru order.

You can pay for your Mukuru order in two ways:

1. Pay with a debit or credit card registered in the same name as your Mukuru account.
2. Pay by bank transfer. After creating the Mukuru order login to your bank’s portal pay for the order using the details provided (ensure the reference details are correct). As soon as the funds are available, the order will be released.

You can view your transactions on your dashboard. You can also select the Transactions icon located on the navigation bar, or in the menu.

A verified identity grants you LITE user status. LITE users can send up to £600 per month.

If your identity verification is unsuccessful, submit an identity document and selfie to be verified as a CORE user. CORE users can send up to £4000 per month.

Send up to £120,000 per calendar year on a MAX level by uploading your proof of income and address document. 

To increase your limits to £4,000 per month on CORE level, select Upload Documents on your dashboard. Upload one of the following forms of identity documents: International Passport, UK Driving Licence, and UK Biometric Residence Permit. To send on MAX level up to £120,000 per calendar year upload your proof of income and address document. 

If you were trying to increase your send limits to £4,000 per month on a CORE level, your limits may not have increased due to your identity document and selfie failing verification. Please re-submit a valid and clear image of your identity document and selfie to increase your limits. Check your emails and notifications for more information.

If you were trying to increase your send limits to £120,000 per calendar year on MAX level, your proof of income or proof of address may not have been sufficient. You will be directed to re-submit additional documents to support the request for higher limits.

You may be unable to send money if you have reached your send limit and need further verification, or your identity is yet to be verified. Check the status of your account on your dashboard. You may be required to submit additional documents.
