The Mukuru “Win Cricket Tickets” Competition (“the Competition”) is run by Mukuru Financial Services Zimbabwe Limited (Company Registration Number 31/2024) (“Mukuru”) from 14 February 2025 to 31 December 2025, or until Mukuru decides to end the Competition (“the Competition Period”), subject to these specific terms and conditions (“Specific Ts & Cs”) and the general terms and conditions for competitions found at www.mukuru.com (“General Competition Ts & Cs”), together the “Competition Ts and Cs”.
By participating in the Competition, you confirm that you have read and agree to be legally bound by the Competition Ts & Cs.

Competition Entry Requirements:
To qualify to participate in the Competition, you must:
Sign up for the new Mukuru Wallet before or during the Competition Period by using WhatsApp (+263 867 700 9604) or USSD (*646#);
Engage with the designated Mukuru Zimbabwe Facebook competition post by tagging at least one friend in the comment section.
Only entries submitted via the designated Mukuru Zimbabwe Facebook posts will be considered valid. Multiple entries on the same post from an individual may result in disqualification.
Only individuals who are 18 years or older, registered Mukuru customers, and residents of Zimbabwe are eligible to participate.
“Qualifying Participants” will be those who fulfill the requirements set out in 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3 above.
Mukuru processes your personal information when you use the Mukuru service. Protecting your personal information is important to Mukuru and processing is done according to our Privacy Notice. When we run Competition s and you qualify for a prize, Mukuru will need to process your personal information for additional purposes. For example, your personal information may be used to validate your entry, make the prize available to you if you are a winner and potentially share your personal information with 3rd parties (including 3rd parties in other countries) who have a need to know. We will ensure those 3rd parties have adequate data protection safeguards in place. Mukuru may also announces the winners on social media or live on broadcast air. If the Competition includes Mukuru wanting to post photos of you as a winner on social media, you will be asked if you agree thereto. By entering this Competition, you consent to Mukuru processing your personal information for the purposes of validating your entry, awarding the prize, and making any related announcements regarding the Competition.
The Prize
The prize for each competition post is two (2) tickets to attend the designated cricket match or series. The Competition covers the following events:
Ireland tour to Zimbabwe;
South Africa tour to Zimbabwe;
South Africa and New Zealand tri-series;
New Zealand tour to Zimbabwe;
Sri Lanka tour to Zimbabwe;
Afghanistan tour to Zimbabwe.
The specific event applicable to each competition post will be clearly indicated in that post.
There will be one winner per designated Mukuru Zimbabwe Facebook post.
All prizes are awarded subject to the successful fulfilment of the Competition entry requirements set out in Section 2. No partial prizes will be awarded.
Winners must collect their tickets in person from either Tendeseka Office Park or one of the main Mukuru branches located in Harare, Bulawayo, Gweru, Mutare, or Masvingo. At the time of collection, winners will be required to present valid identification (National ID, Driver’s License, or valid Passport) along with their Mukuru account details.
Winner Announcement & Notification
For each designated Mukuru Zimbabwe Facebook post, eligible entries will be entered into a random draw. The draw will be conducted 72 hours after the post is published, ensuring that it occurs no later than 9 days before the scheduled start of the respective match or series.
The winner selected from each draw will be notified via SMS and/or email. Upon notification, the winner must confirm their acceptance of the prize and provide the required identification and Mukuru account details.
Additionally, Mukuru will make up to three (3) phone call attempts to contact the potential winner. If a winner cannot be contacted after three attempts, the prize will be forfeited and Mukuru reserves the right to select an alternative winner from the eligible entries.
Winners will be officially announced on the Mukuru Zimbabwe Facebook page 7 days before the scheduled start of the respective match or series.
If a winner does not wish to have their name or photograph used in any publicity or promotional material, they must notify Mukuru immediately upon notification or at the time of prize collection. Mukuru will respect such requests and refrain from publicizing the winner’s details.
General
Mukuru employees and agents (including their immediate family members) are not allowed to enter the Competition.
Winners cannot decline a prize they have rightfully won or request a different prize.
Mukuru reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Competition at any time if technical failures, unauthorized intervention, or any other causes beyond its control affect the fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Competition.
If the Competition is terminated early, any winners determined prior to termination will still receive their prizes, provided they have complied with the Competition Ts and Cs.
The prize is not transferable for cash or any other item, unless otherwise stated in the Competition Ts and Cs or agreed in writing by Mukuru.
Mukuru will not be liable for any costs, damages, or losses incurred by any participant or winner in connection with this Competition. The prize is provided “as is,” without any warranties other than those given by the original issuer (if applicable).
Failure by Mukuru to enforce any of the Competition T’s and C’s does not constitute a waiver of those terms and does not give rise to any claim by any participant.
The Competition T’s and C’s are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. By entering the Competition, you agree to indemnify Mukuru against any claims or liabilities arising from your participation or acceptance of a prize.
Acceptance
By participating in this Competition, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the Competition Ts and Cs.
