The St John’s Mukuru Derby Day 2026 Ticket Giveaway Competition (“the Competition”) is being run by Send Money Home (Pvt) Ltd (Company Registration number 1446/2012) (“Mukuru) during the period stipulated in Clause 2.1.7. (“the Competition Period”) subject to these specific terms and conditions and the general terms and conditions for competitions and Competitions which can be found at www.mukuru.com (“Competition Ts & Cs”).
By participating in the Competition, you confirm that you have read and agree to be legally bound by the Competition Ts & Cs.

Competition Entry Requirements:
To qualify to participate in the Competition, you must:
be in resident in Zimbabwe during the Competition Period;
Persons who fulfil the requirements of clause 2.1 above will be referred to as “Qualifying Participants” for the purposes of the Competition.
Mukuru processes your personal information when you use the Mukuru Service. Protecting your personal information is important to Mukuru and processing is done according to our Privacy Notice. When we run competitions and you qualify for a Prize, Mukuru will need to process your personal information for additional purposes. For example, your personal information may be used to validate your entry, make the reward available to you if you are a winner and potentially share your personal information with 3rd parties (including 3rd parties in other countries) who have a need to know. We will ensure those 3rd parties have adequate data protection safeguards in place. Mukuru also announces the winner on social media. If the Competition includes Mukuru wanting to post photos of you as a winner on social media, you will be asked if you agree thereto.
If a winner does not wish to have their name used in any publicity or promotional material or social media post, they must notify Mukuru immediately upon notification or at the time of Prize collection. Mukuru will respect such requests and refrain from publicizing the winner’s details.
The Prize and announcement of the winners
All Qualifying Participants will be put into a random draw and stand a chance to win the following prize:
Two St John’s College Derby Day 2026 event tickets (“Prize”). The Prize is valid for any one day of the St John’s Mukuru Derby Day 2026 (27 April – 2 May 2026) that takes place in Zimbabwe, at the winner’s choosing.
A maximum of 10 (ten) winners will be selected from the Qualifying Participants through a single random draw and will be tagged in a winner post on the Mukuru Zimbabwe Facebook page on the following date:
25 April 2026.
The winner will be required to inbox the Mukuru Zimbabwe Facebook page to confirm their acceptance of the Prize and provide the required identification (full name, phone number, email address). Should there be no response from the Mukuru Zimbabwe Facebook page within 24 hours, you are required to send a screenshot, with your successful identification and Facebook message with your details, to [email protected].
The winner will have 1 (one) day from the date of the winner announcement via the Mukuru Zimbabwe Facebook account to provide their details via a direct message on the Facebook page. If they fail to do so, they will forfeit their Prize.
The winners will receive the Prize as a unique identifier number sent directly to their email address provided within 1 (one) day of Mukuru acknowledging the winner providing their details.
Winners must collect their tickets in person from the entry gate of the St John’s Mukuru Derby Day 2026. At the time of collection, winners will be required to present the unique identifier number and a valid identification (National ID, Driver’s License, or valid Passport) to verify their identity when collecting the Prize.
The winners will be liable for all other costs associated with utilizing the Prize, including but not limited to travel to and from the St John’s Mukuru Derby Day 2026, accommodation, refreshments etc.
General
Mukuru employees and agents will not be allowed to enter the Competition.
Qualifying Participants must be 18 years or older.
Qualifying Participants cannot win more than once, and the Prize cannot be exchanged for cash or any other currency.
If for any reason, the Competition cannot run as planned because of any technical failures, unauthorised intervention, computer virus, mobile network failure, stock unavailability, tampering, fraud or any other causes beyond our control which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, we reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify, suspend or cancel the Competition and/or to disqualify any individual who (whether directly or indirectly) causes (or has caused) the problem.
Mukuru may vary the terms of or cancel the Competition at any time. Mukuru may vary or cancel the Competition at any time without any liability to any person involved directly or indirectly in the Competition.
Mukuru cannot be held liable for any loss, expense, or damage to any person participating in the Competition.
A failure by Mukuru to enforce any one of the terms and conditions in any instance(s) will not give rise to any claim or right of action by any Qualifying Participant. If Mukuru does not enforce a provision, this will not mean that Mukuru has given up on or lost any rights.
Mukuru will not assume any liability to any participant, or Qualifying Participant in connection with or arising out of the Competition however it is caused, including for any costs, expenses, forfeited rewards, damages and other liabilities
These Competition Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe.
