Mukuru Business Partner

Being a Mukuru agent since 2018 has been a truly rewarding journey. I started from the Information office during the week, I assisted customers and shared information about our services, and on weekends, I went out for outreach marketing—pitching gazebos in front of Pay-In Partners and engaging directly with the community. Sometimes, I even used those moments to promote the very office I worked in. It was all about connecting with people and bringing Mukuru closer to them.
I later progressed to becoming a communications officer, but the agent spirit still lives in me—I’ve never lost my roots. I continue to assist customers whenever I can, because helping people is part of who I am.

As a young woman who was struggling to find direction and make ends meet, Mukuru has truly been a life changing opportunity.
Through my work with Mukuru, I have gained invaluable skills in professional thinking, decision making, and budgeting. I have learned to prioritize my expenses, manage my finances, and make smart financial choices that allow me to support myself and my loved ones. These skills have strengthened my confidence and empowered me to take control of my life.  I have learned to communicate clearly, work effectively in a team, and build strong relationships with those around me. My earnings from Mukuru have helped me support my family, send money home, and invest in my future. I started to work with Mukuru in July 2016 as Information Officer.

Since I started with Mukuru I development building house for my parents and finishing mine,  I bought cattle so far and goats

I buy farming materials easy and fast with Mukuru.

I am paying school fees and am sending money home.

It has been 9 months of pure joy working as a Vendor Agent of Mukuru ,Mukuru has helped me personally on how I should handle my money and it has been a joy to pass that knowledge to my customers as a vendor on how they can save or transact money using Mukuru. I have also managed to have an extra income from the commissions and it helped me a lot I managed to pay off my college course fees with commission money only and that’s something I’m really grateful for.

I want to express my admiration for Mukuru Company’s remarkable success since I joined in 2016. I am grateful for the sales and marketing certificate I received, which has boosted my confidence. My experience with Mukuru has enabled me to support my family and improve my side hustle as a flea market vendor, which I started with the commissions earned. Specifically, the consistent commissions over the past three months have allowed me to catch up on my children’s school fees, and I am hopeful that this momentum continues.

Being a Mukuru agent helped me so much in terms of my income, in my 4 years journey with Mukuru I am managing to pay my rent and few other things. It’s a side hustle but I make sure I do it wholeheartedly with love. It also helped me to communicate and also to learn different languages I wish to put more effort to learn more.
