Mukuru alone will engage with the Payroll Provider. A Participant must not contact a Payroll Provider on Mukuru’s behalf or represent that they act for or with the authority of Mukuru.
  4. Validation of the Lead
    1. On receipt of a Lead, a Mukuru consultant will contact the Payroll Provider to establish whether the Branch Code is available on the Payroll Platform.
    2. A Lead will only be a Qualifying Lead if the Payroll Provider confirms, by way of a screenshot of the bank selection list on the Payroll Platform that is satisfactory to Mukuru, that the correct Bank Name and Branch Code is not available on the Payroll Platform at the time of Mukuru’s enquiry.
    3. A Lead will not be a Qualifying Lead, and no Reward will be payable, if the Bank Name and Branch Code is already available on the Payroll Platform, or if the Payroll Provider declines to engage with Mukuru or does not provide the screenshot within 10 business days of Mukuru’s first attempt to contact it. 1. Where a Lead is a Qualifying Lead, Mukuru will engage the Payroll Provider to have the correct Bank Name and Branch Code loaded on the Payroll Platform.

Later Leads in respect of that Payroll Platform will not be eligible, even if they name a different Employer or contact person.
    2. If the first Lead in respect of a Payroll Platform does not become eligible for a Reward because the Participant who submitted it is disqualified or no longer meets the requirements of clause 3, Mukuru may, but is not obliged to, consider the next Lead received in respect of that Payroll Platform.
    3. The Bounty is capped at a maximum of 50 Rewards. Rewards will be allocated in the order in which the requirements of clause 6.1 are met in the order in which the relevant Leads were received.
    4. Once 50 Rewards have been allocated, the Bounty will close, even if the Bounty Period has not yet ended. Mukuru will publish a notice of closure on www.mukuru.com. No Reward will be payable for any Lead, including a Qualifying Lead, that has not met the requirements of clause 7.1 by the time the Bounty closes.

    3. Participants must not include in a Lead any information beyond that required by clause 3.2, such as payslips, identity numbers or the details of other employees.
    4. Mukuru will not share the personal information of the Participant with the Payroll Provider, but the Employer may do so.

    1. Employees and agents of Mukuru are not eligible to participate in the Bounty or to receive a Reward.
    2. Mukuru may disqualify a Participant, refuse to pay a Reward or reverse a Reward already paid where it reasonably believes that the Participant has acted fraudulently or dishonestly, colluded with any other person (including a Payroll Provider or another Participant), used more than one identity or Mukuru profile, provided false information or otherwise breached the Bounty Ts & Cs.
    3. Mukuru’s determination of whether a Lead is complete, the order in which Leads were received, whether a Lead is a Qualifying Lead and whether a POP is acceptable will be final, save in the case of manifest error.
  10. General
    1. If for any reason the Bounty cannot run as planned because of any technical failure, unauthorised intervention, computer virus, mobile network failure, tampering, fraud, or any other cause beyond Mukuru’s control which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Bounty, Mukuru reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Bounty and/or to disqualify any individual who (whether directly or indirectly) causes or has caused the problem.
    2. Mukuru may vary the terms of, or cancel, the Bounty at any time by publishing notice on www.mukuru.com. Any variation or cancellation will not affect a Reward for which the requirements of clause 6.1 were met before the variation or cancellation took effect.
    3. Mukuru is not responsible for any act or omission of a Payroll Provider or an Employer, including any decision not to load the Branch Code or any delay in doing so.
    4. To the extent permitted by law, Mukuru will not be liable for any loss, expense, or damage suffered by any person in connection with or arising out of the Bounty, however caused.
    5. A failure by Mukuru to enforce any one of these terms and conditions in any instance(s) will not give rise to any claim or right of action by any Participant. If Mukuru does not enforce a provision, this does not mean that Mukuru has given up or lost any rights.
    6. The Bounty Ts & Cs are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
